Good for kids, decent sound, tuned pretty well
I'm a composer, pianist, and music teacher. I got this for my toddlers. They love it, and I find it to be an excellent combination of price, durability, and sound. It's cheap enough that it doesn't stress me out when they beat on it too hard, and good enough that the sound isn't painful.

Nephew loves it
I got this for my nephew for Christmas and purchased the chromanotes stickers and books and he loves it. I have the Orff xylophones and my nephews enjoy playing on them, but for a 6 year old I needed something less expensive but with wooden keys and similar sound to my Orff. This is a great beginner wooden key Xylophone. The case is a great bonus!!

One mallet was broken upon arrival.

This was a great instrument I only gave 4 stars because one of the panels has a chip and the mallets came bent

last octave muted
conde's with hard plastic mallets which are fine but loud. bought rubber mallets to take time and last octave hardly sounds.
