This is a good looking, lightweight paddle with a comfortable hand grip. There is a coating of paint on the blade that is supposed to protect it from push-off damage, though I'm not sure how well that will hold up. The craftsmanship and finish on the paddle seems great. We now have two of these!

I hadn’t invested in a decent paddle before so I Felt the difference. Light tough balanced. An amazing piece of woodwork.

This is a beautiful beavertail paddle and It paddles as good as it looks. Definitely worth the price. It's a real joy.Would have given 5 stars if not for the packaging. There was no packing airbags to keep the paddle from bouncing around during shipping. It did not arrive damaged, but this is lazy packaging for a pretty pricy and quality item.

Wonderful handle and surface. Light as a feather compared to some cheaper paddles that feel like fence posts.

Someone thought it was a good idea to ship this beautiful wooden paddle by bending branches, in a thin plastic bag. The edge of the blade got scuffed up. I returned it same day. I will update after I receive the replacement paddle.Update. My replacement paddle is in worse shape than the original. This seller doesn't seem to understand the problem of shipping "new" wooden paddles in thin plastic bags. If you're going to buy from this seller. Expect "used" condition for "new" prices. I'm getting a refund now.

I bought this a year ago but just used it on a 7 day canoe trip down the Flint River. It was awesome.

I would give this paddle 5 stars but not the shipping. The paddles where in a big box each one and they were both in a plastic bags not sealed and nothing around the paddles in the big boxes. So they both got damaged shipping them. I know the paddles both will get scratches and dings on them using them but buying them brand new should come brand new.
