I use this for a dedicated spigot and ran a tee with shut off valve for my ice maker in the fridge. Works great no bad/funny taste.

Very satisfied with this filter, easy to install. BONUS: it says 500 gallons in the description, but the product is actually 2000 gallons.

DO NOT BUYAs you can see it is missing a critical part. On the original there is a hole beside the inlet and outlet. This is what turns the valve on when you twist it into place. This supposed copy doesn’t have that so it doesn’t work. It also took 2 weeks to arrive and now I have to send it back and order a different brand.

For the last 4 years, I’ve changed it out once every year in my truckcamper water system to make the drinking water taste great. No leaking & simple & easy to replace.
