Excellent bit of kit. I use daily as a decorator
This is a great hoover for the price! NOTE: I've read the other reviews and they mention the filter getting blocked quickly. This happened to me, until I realised I could use bags in this vac! Complete game changer! (You can find them on Amazon) Now I can use this time and time again without the filter blocking, and without any loss of suction. I use this for prepping walls & ceilings before painting (with a maxxt orbital sander) and it creates literally no paint dust. Also use for sanding wood with equally impressive results. Great suction for general vacuuming after a job too. Really does do the job as well as any hoover I've used before. Felt a lengthy review was warranted as I'd consider much more expensive alternatives but very glad I gave this a chance. Yes, it's quite plasticy, but it's robust. Pros: Great suction, power take-off, fairly lightweight, good size capacity, can use bags! Cons: hose is on the short side (just get an adaptor & extra hose), no castor wheels

Great vacuum!
Amazing vacuum and perfect for the workshop. Mega strong suction and blowing power useful to clear dust off of everything. Comes with a few useful attachments too. The hose doesn’t attach to my power tools without a bit of masking tape (easier to remove than duct tape!) but easy enough to attach. I’ve just ordered the adaptor for their mitre saw (direct from Evo) so assuming that’ll do the job for tools. DEWALT also do an adaptor which I think will fit and then work with most power tools but that involves cutting the hose which in turn means the attachments might not work as well. A little loathe to try this hence buying the Evolution specific adaptor. Regardless of this it’s brilliant. Oh and it also has a socket to plug your power tools into and turns on automatically when they start. I’m a newbie to all this woodworking stuff so maybe all the features are what you find in most vacs but really impressed with this for the price

Very powerful, very noisy, filter based
Excellent product with a couple of weak points. I use it mainly for woodworking tools, which produce fine dust, which it removes very well, keeping the air dust down and making it safer to work without a mask. However the filter is small and blocks quite quickly in this application, which surprised me when you consider Evolution make mainly woodworking tools! The filter can be cleaned and re-used but this takes time and another powerful vacuum!!! (good job I didn't throw out the Amazon basics home upright bagless I have been using prior to this.. which has nowhere near the power but doesn't clog) No adapters supplied and surprisingly didn't fit any of my Evolution or Einhell woodwork tools without one, though the suction is so strong it will actually hold the hose onto both my sanders even without one. (but not my saws) (Adapters are cheap and work well) Capacity is huge and it will suck up anything, screws, nails, any wood scraps that fit into the nozzle. Not used it for wet, and no intention of doing so as the hose design isn't smooth on the inside and I'm sure it would get very smelly with anything but clean water. Overall very good, but the filter is the weakness, and I can see it costing a lot in replacement filters over the course of a year or so.

Works great!
I bought this to use as a shop-vac, but to test it, I hoovered the carpet in my front room that had just been hoovered by a Dyson upright, the results were surprising as quite a lot of dirt, dust, dog hairs and fluff were collected! The Evolution R15VAC is lighter than a Dyson, quieter than a Dyson, picked up more than a Dyson and certainly costs a lot less than a Dyson! Typically I bought this just for nearly £100 just before the price dropped another £24! The capacity of 15L sounds like a lot, but it soon fills up given how powerful the suction is and how much is collected in a workshop environment. As a shop-vac, the power take off function is useful and saves a lot of messing about having to start/stop for each machine you plug in to the PTO socket. I haven't tried the thickness/planer yet (which throws out a lot of sawdust and chippings) but the table saw, circular saw and Jigsaw all worked well and nearly all the dust/debris was captured. I think I saw the PTO socket was rated for 1700W, but it ran my 1800W table saw with no apparent problems. Overall this is a very nice bit of kit, small, lightweight and sits unobtrusively in a corner sucking up all the dust and chippings from my power tools! Just have to remember to empty the darn thing!

This thing sucks (but in a good way!)
This is great she’d vac for the price. The standby function where you can plug your tool into the socket on the vac and the vac will only start up when you start your tool going is a great feature. It had a pretty powerful suck and will also deal with wet stuff (though I haven’t tried that feature yet). I have to buy adapter nozzles for my tools, but that was fine.

Great shop-vac for the average DIY-er.
Although I've this for a while, it's not had a lot of use yet. However, the fact that you can run your power tools through it is a great convenience. The suction power is good for its size, it's compact and fits neatly under a workbench or similar, comes with a selection of nozzles / heads, and has an over-run of around 5 to 10 seconds when you turn off your power tool. I think I had mine on offer and represented good value. I haven't had to clean it out yet and only time will tell how durable it is. If it's looked after it should last years.

If you are reading this; you are likely very similar to me, in that; I really research everything before purchasing and I always try to buy the absolute best tool for the job I have, within the budget I’m willing to spend. I wanted to buy a proper wet/dry vacuum cleaner for mainly DIY related projects around the house & garden. Over the years I've been using the house vac, like Dyson and recently Miele, and I've been abusing those products for the work I've put them through, from plasterboard cuttings/dust, concrete, stones, timber shavings, saw dust from my mitre saw, etc, etc. I did a LOT of research into which was the "BEST" vacuum to buy on the web, youtube and Screwfix reviews from trade lads. I did not want to spend multiple hundreds on a vac that isn't used on a weekly basis, so I set my mind on budget unit around €100. The main criteria was, could I find a powerful enough vac that could suck up all that building material, be relatively easy to clean, easy to store away and was portable enough for various jobs; whether inside the house or outside. I seriously looked at the Hyundai 1400 W unit, looked great, but many said the wheels cracked and it is a large unit at over 600mm high. I buy a lot of tools from Screwfix; so I looked at their Titan range; which also looked very good, but I eventually opted for the evolution R15VAC. Why? Really, because of the really positive reviews & videos from lads using it, and the power pass-through for power tools like my orbital sander. I was a bit concerned about a 1000W motor, versus others rated at 14/1500W and the small 15L capacity put me off initially. However, I can tell you now; the reviews were not wrong. It really is a very powerful unit. Does it suck up gravel, concrete dust, saw dust, etc; ABSOLUTELY. It is neat and easy to carry, 100%. Is it easy to empty, most definitely…..no hassle at all. Bang out the filter and air clean it every now and then; it’s perfect (no arsing around with bags). The tools storage is very good on it also. The only small issue I have; the hose and cable are a bit too short. Now; that’s not the end of the world and as it’s the only slight negative; it’s easy to live with. At the end of the day; you want a vac that has strong suction, is easy to empty and can meet your needs for construction, DIY or even cleaning the van/car. I would highly recommend one and I hope this review puts other minds at ease and help them choose this vac; as you won’t be disappointed.

Bonnet aspirateur de chantier, seul bémol, la longueur du flexible qui doit être complété d'une prolongation..à part cela, il fonctionne et aspire très bien..

Yes, it holds back dust. Once it is "full", clogged, you either buy a new one or you clean the old one. I have done that cleaning several times, it is a bit time consuming, with a strong brush and a screw driver, but you can re-use such a filter at least 20 times, if you clean it carefully. Good thing, and as is the word now, sustainable.
