I can't get shashibo to open? I need a video because the instructions are not helpful. I am so frustrated!

There is a free app for iPhone and Android called Fun In Motion Toys which has a section devoted to Shashibo instructional videos including how to open it. My 9 year old grandson is level 1 autistic. Would this be too frustrating for him if he can't figure it out?

I gave one to each of my 3 youngest grandchildren for their Birthdays. They are 12 and 13 years old. All three seem to enjoy it, but they haven't had them long enough to let me know if they are bored. Wish I had a better answer.
