This product fits a 2006 Mercedes-Benz W220 S430
This Mercedes-Benz hood ornament was labeled for a C230, but I needed one for my 2006 S430 W220. The Amazon shopping filter said it would fit my car, but I had my doubts. I went ahead and purchased it anyway, and I'm glad I did. Not only did it fit perfectly, but it is absolutely beautiful! My car is over 20 years old and my original hood ornament was damaged (by kids playing with it!). It is amazing how such a small detail can make a huge difference, it's as if I gave my car a whole new face lift!

This arrived in what appears to be an authentic Mercedes package. The star tends to tilt backwards more than the original but that may simply be because this is new and the one that fell off the car was old enough to vote. Surprisingly, removing the old one was easier than installing this one -- the cam and tabs are tighter on a new unit. I used pliers and a little patience and it dropped in. 5 minute job at most but be careful you don't bend the tabs.
