To be honest, I didn't expect extremely high quality but I was pleasantly suprised! I expected the paper to be thick (since they were selling that point so much) but not as smooth and silky. However, it actually was! It was very pleasant to touch and feels lovely to write on with my ballpoint. Haven't tested with a fountain pen yet so can't comment on that, but my ballpoint works great! It doesn't feel quite as high quality as moleskine or leuchtturm paper of similar thicknesses but at almost half the price, it's a pretty damn good deal anyway! Especially since it includes a pen holder so I don't have to buy one for £3. Very pleased.

This is actually way worse than the 'inferior' pad I was looking to replace. Even the only nib that doesn't ghost is the extra fine one, and it's like writing on sandpaper! Using a slightly wetter nib like a Mont Blanc Medium (with MB ink) it's unusable, it's looks like writing with a marker pen. I also tried an italic nib and it also 'scratches'.I bought this book especially for the thickness of the paper, but quite frankly, I don't think it's pressed properly for use with inks. Very disappointed.

Perfect little A5 book with a really handy pen holder that doesn’t impact use. The ribbon page mark does what it needs to. I love that it has an elastic band to keep it closed and the secret hidden pocket at the back that I use to store my receipts.

I like this. There are cheaper journals out there but this is going to last the daily page turns. You don't want to have pages becoming loose. It sits on the kitchen table, pen secured in the tab thing on the spine, elasticated should I take it out with me. Good quality paper. No complaints at all.

Great for notes and sketches alike. More for where I have gone wrong in life and can remind myself of my failures.That’s how much I hate myself.Really good note book. So much so I bought another one!
