Hunger for Words Talking Pet Starter Set, Recordable Buttons for Dogs, Talking Dog Buttons, Teach Your Dog to Talk

These need a lot of batteries so make sure you stock up. Also you input the words... sounds so odd!

These are recordable buttons for talking training with cats/dogs. Couple of issues: 1) They are very big and require a decent amount of pressure, my cat has stood on them and not been able to push down 2) The speakers aren’t very good/clear. Particularly with ‘t’s and ‘s’s, it’s very hard to interpret. 3) The rounded buttons don’t come with labels and mean that any homemade labels peel off/don’t stick well (I made custom labels on a Cricut for them). They definitely work, and I’m sure are great for a large dog, but I’m probably going to have to return these because they’re just not suitable for my cat.

Very good product I just wish I had not recorded a "treat" button as my dog now aggressively presses it over and over again.

Both myself and my partner secretly got out dog for Christmas a set of 4 buttons (wrapped and placed under the tree, as you do). The buttons are from different manufacturers. When it came to decide what we're going to do with 8 buttons we said we're going to keep and use them all but every time we tried to set up one of the buttons from Hunger for words, we got so frustrated with the quality of the sound, we gave up on these and used from the other set. Yesterday I got to setting up the 4th button for our dog and grabbed the unused Hunger for words kit. Again, was so disappointed with the sound quality that I decided to return these buttons. Indeed, the plastic is better then the other set we got but the sound is a lot quieter and so poor quality that you can barely understand what's recorded. The other set is slightly cheaper but the sound is better than Hunger for words. In the video attached I tested both brands side to side with brand new batteries. The sound for Hunger for words (left) seems better on video than in reality but you can still notice that the other one is louder and clearer.

These are easy to record your 'chosen words' on and my dog started using them in the 2nd week! I guess they may nit be fir every dig, but if yours is easy to train, they'll use these

Got these for my dogs! I thought thor would be the hardest to teach but as you can see he picked it up first time after 15mins of doing this he realised he gets the treat when she says it 😂👌 loki on the other hand did it straight away and now doesn't like the voice 😂

You can’t understand what has been recorded. The playback is of such low quality that if you record the work “Walk” what is repeated back to you is just some nondescript mumble, you can’t even hear the “k” sound. Therefore if you programme all 4 you’re not going to know what they say as no matter the word it sounds the same. I’ve had to compensate for this by recording a whole sentence such as “I would like to go on a walk”. Which i guess might be good enough, but let’s face it, we’re all buying this because we say it on tiktok and if thats what you want to replicate, you’ll need to spend a bit more money and get something better.

Reasonably good quality audio buttons for starting to train your dog to talk. The audio can be a bit fuzzy unless you speak directly into the speaker/mic when recording. The buttons are also pretty durable, we have a 15lb small dog but she tends to get overexcited to tell us her demands and kicks the buttons around like hockey pucks. :) Kit includes easy step-by-step instructions for how to teach your dog.

犬と猫が家にいるため、2匹ともに使用しようと2セット購入しました。 ボタンを購入したのは今回が初めてだったのですが、４ヶ月と少しの期間ボタンを使用して、 個人的にいい点と悩ましい部分がはっきりとしましたので、今後購入を検討されている方に向けて 参考にして頂ければいいなと思い、備忘録としてレビューを投稿しました。 （補足） 現在は猫が2セットのボタンを使用しており、今回のレビューは猫が使用した際のものとなります。 ______________________ ・ボタンの押し心地について 我が家の猫は体重が５㎏あり後ろ足などで押す事が簡単にできましたが、 小型で3kgの我が家の犬は、体重や前足にかける力が足りないようで、 音声がなるまでボタンを押し込むことが困難でした。 そのため、他の方のレビューにもあるように、体重がある程度あるワンちゃんか、 中型犬から上のワンちゃんでなければ、ボタンの使用が少し困難かもしれません。 使用の際、稀にボタンが反応しないことがありましたが、何度も使用する際に ボタンの上部分が回転してしまいボタンの押し心地が固くなることがあるようで、 押し込む上部分を回転させるといつも通りの押し心地に修正できました。 押し心地に関しては個人的にこれといった不具合は今のところありません。 ・録音機能について サイドにあるボタンでの録音が可能で、音質はまあまあ良い感じ…！といった感じです。 音声の音量は録音時の距離や声のトーンなどでかなり変わるため、大きくも小さくもなります。 何度も取り直しが可能なので、自分がいいと感じたボタンの音声になるまで、 音の大きさや声のトーンなどを自分で確認して、セッティングすることが可能です。 サイドにあるボタンを犬や猫に押されて音声がリセットした事は今のところありませんが、 お掃除する際に持ち方をミスったり、たまたま私の足先などに当たってしまった際に、 音声がリセットされてしまうことがありましたので、少し注意が必要かもしれません。 購入していないため、なんとも言えませんがトーキングペットにはボタン設置のマットが あるようなので、心配な方はそれを設置するといいかもしれませんね。 また、録音の際に何か上手くいかないと感じた場合、録音ボタンを押して声を発する前後に 無音の時間を1秒ほど、ほんの少し置くことでうまく録音される可能性が上がりました。 録音機能に関しても個人的にこれといった不具合は今のところありません。 ・大きさについて 大きさは手のひらぐらい、Google Homeよりひと回り小さいかな？という感じです。 数を今後増やす場合は意外と場所が必要になるな…といった印象ですが、 この大きさだからこそ押す範囲が広く、押し慣れていく際の過程として大事な、 偶然ボタンを押すことができるタイミングを誘発しやすく便利でした。 ・その他 電源のオンオフがないため、ボタンをたくさん押す猫ちゃんやワンちゃんの場合は、 音量によっては大変賑やかになってしまうので、設置場所を変更しないでいいように ある程度音が鳴っても大丈夫な場所にボタンを設置したり、ボタンに慣れてきて たくさん押すようになったタイミングで録音した際の音量を小さくしてもいいかもしれませんね。 __________________________ 特に目立った不具合はなく、使用してとても困った…ということもないので、 個人的には、初めてのボタンはこれでよかったな〜と感じています。 今回はこちらのスターターセットを購入しましたが、 日本語版のスターターがあるようなので、次回はそちらを近々購入予定です。 音声の質が良くなっているようなのでそちらの使用も楽しみです。 __________________________ ・個人的な感想（ボタンあんまり関係ない） 犬や猫とコミュニケーションを取ることは一部の人たち以外は正直無理だろうな〜と かなりの諦めから入りましたが、教えてみてよかったかもなと感じています。 根気がかなり必要だったこともあり、飼い主側が時より諦めつつ休憩を入れての長丁場、 単語を使った会話の回数を日常に取り入れたり、おもちゃで遊びながら偶然押すようにしたり… 猫なので簡単にボタンを避けることができてしまい、ボタンを押すという行動を、 人の手で運ぶことなく押させることが結構難しいな…と苦戦しました。 今ではボタンを通してある程度の会話をすることが可能になりましたが、 「単語」で「ある程度」の会話が可能になるだけで、 もちろん彼らと人間のように流暢な会話をできたりする訳ではないので、 彼らの気分で会話しない日もありますし、要求を却下しても要求が通るまで連打したり、 30分前の会話をボタンで会話したりと、ラグがあったりもします。 正直、飼い主側が押されたボタンの単語で要求を察したり考えたりしなければならないので、 ボタンを覚えることと覚えないことの差は、察する際にヒントが増える事かなと感じました。 押すことを強要せず、ボタンを押さないとやってあげないよ〜ではなくて、 ボタンを押さなくても飼い主が理解できることは押さなくても答えてあげることや、 覚えさせる！けど、今すぐじゃなくていいや、いつか使ってよね、という感じの 根気強く教える！でも気負いせずに長い時間がかかることを認識した上で教えるスタンスで 飼い主も教えられる側も無理なく会話できるようにすることが大事だなと感じました。 これから始める方は、自分の心身に無理せずにゆっくり挑戦してみてくださいね。 このレビューが誰かにとって参考になりますように。

We purchased these for our dog and he mastered two of them within no time after following the instructions provided. Love how you can record your own voice. Be careful your dog doesn’t take advantage of the ‘hungry’ button 😜
