Great for Survival Kits
A tad on the expensive side, but I chose it to most simply add to survival kits for me and my kids. It's got everything needed in a small, lightweight package, and because it's flat, it's easily packed with other essentials. Get an extra one to practice with!

Small, lightweight and functional.
I haven't used but looks like a functional fishing kit. Good for when your not going to carry one but throw it in to have something just incase.

Perfect For Your BOB or Minimalist Hiking Gear
I was VERY impressed with this fishing kit. For the price I expected it to be a bit cheap and was skeptical as to whether or not it would serve it's intended purpose. Turns out that every aspect of this kit is high quality, including the 6 mil zip pouch it comes in! No Altoids tin necessary...It is designed to catch small fish in an emergency situation, so it's only 12lb line with #4 - #8 hooks. The Jigs and Fly are good quality and should work very well for many uses. There is a Desiccant Pack, bobber, some split-shot, and some round bait as well.Solid kit for your BOB.. or even for those who want to try lightweight wilderness survival..

Excellent small survival or recreational fishing kit.
This is a great little lightweight kit that one should at least be able to catch a meal or two or more so that they may survive if stuck out and hungry. It’s well worth the low price and even has room for a couple more items if one wished to have a bit more. But as a stand alone lightweight option this will feed anyone who knows how to fish at all.

Decent quality for survival kit
A nice addition to my wilderness survival kit. The components are of decent quality and there's room to upgrade. If you ever had to actually use it, the gear would hold up in wilderness conditions.

expensive for what it is but...
Way expensive for what it is but if you went out and tried to buy everything in this little package you will spend more money because you would have to buy this stuff in bulk packages. Honestly if you have a bunch of fishing stuff you can put this together easily and save yourself the money. What I like about it is that it is a tiny light weight package that is already put together that I can now replace my much heavier emergency fishing kit that I never take anyways because I'm always removing stuff to save weight on my multi day backpacking trips. Now if something were to happen on these trips I at least now have something to work with that won't add extra weight. I then moved my much bigger emergency fishing kit to my day pack because in reality it's the day trips that hikers are most likely to get in trouble because you're not expecting to be out longer than a day.

Perfect size for a bug out/ survival kit
I got this to have a fishing capability for my bug out/ survival bag, and it fits perfectly. It fits in the palm of my hand and although I havent used it, I imagine it will do exactly what it's supposed to. Very compact and in my opinion a worthy addition to an emergency kit

The items that are provided are of good quality but still too
Too much money for what you get. Build your own. Unless you are in a hurry. The items that are provided are of good quality but still too pricey
