I sew daily, do they stand the test of time?

I’ve had a pair for around 35 years and they’ve just gotten dull. So I now need a sharp pair. So yes they do stand years of use. I sew a lot!! Almost everyday. I’m going to try to find someone to sharpen my old ones but I do deserve a new pair!!!

Where an i find a replacement screw for these ultima thread nippers 204n?

Contact the maker. I’ve done that with many of my Amazon purchases. Companies will usually respond to you with either the size or where you can buy the screw or they may even send you one.

Does anyone know how these might fair being used in the garden to snip flowers?

These are NOT for yard work. The blade is sharp to cut very thin thread and very close to the material. This is exclusively for sewing. If used for delicate stems or flowers it will work, but it will no longer be good for sewing.
