Ideal Filament Dryer
Working great so far, simple to use, noise level is not an issue and print quality has improved. I've placed it next to my Elegoo Centauri Carbon and directly feed into the filament sensor using the supplied PTFE tubes instead of using the roll holder. Helps to have the door slightly open to vent the humidity during drying. Added 2 x desicant bags that came with the Elegoo filaments into the trays inside the chamber as they are the perfect size.

Decent piece of kit.
Works as intended and filament rolls out nicely. Although the point of exit could be moved slightly to ease friction i have not had problems.

Fine, but the manual needs some update
You want to keep it slightly open (the lid sitting on the top of the latch) to help to raise the efficiency of drying by getting rid of the evaporated moisture, instead just mostly let it to circulate with the air in the almost fully closed system. Once the drying cycle over, close it, and let the silica gel sachets that you placed on the dedicated compartments to help to keep everything dry. Fortunately it will dry the silica gel as well in the next cycle, so don't need to replace them. All together I'm happy with the purchase, but the manual should be updated with the gap. And never going to understand why the number of the rolls multiply the price, since mostly just the box getting bigger, not the heater, fan, screen, etc..

Works well. Not too noisy.
It works well. You can see the humidity go up and when you vent it goes down. Do this a few times and the filament is dry. You can hear the fan but not much.

Noise!
Easy to use and efficient. Sound level is very bad - a high pitch sound gets to you after a while. As the only moving part is a fan I am going to look at replacing it.

Good filament dryer
Does a good job! Sometimes alarm goes off some sort of temperature error but just turn off and on again and shouldn't happen for a while

This is invaluable to saving prints and profit
I absolutely love this product, there's nothing worse than having a print fail due to moisture. This was a life saver and most importantly a money saver. The days of throwing money down the drain are gone. With it's pre set filament types, and the ability to adjust time and heat is invaluable. Although you can print direct from the unit, I don't as I have a csf. Honestly buying this unit, changed my printing profits by miles. If you suffer with moisture and filament, you can't go wrong with this product

good device apart from noise...
This dryer feels better quality compared to others in this price category. But it has one flaw - HIGH PITCH NOISE fan. It's so annoying that i'm not sure i'm going to keep it. Other than that, body plastics, layout, lid with gasket, touchscreen - everything feels much better than competitors, space-pi for example. The annoying noise is a huge flaw. I'd happily pay £10-15 more for a quiet fan...

Good : Temperature up to 70°C Timer up to 98 hours Modern control panel Integral power supply (not a separate box) Bad : Noisy at first, but not after temperature has stabilized Costs more So I have the original SH01 filament dryer also so I can directly compare the old and the new together. Power : SH01 48W with separate multi-voltage power supply 12V 4A 2.1mm barrel jack SH02 150W built-in power supply. The heater and fan are both more powerful so this makes sense having larger power consumption. SH02 has one built into the unit so there is only the power cable (figure of 8) required Noise : SH01 fan did start to rattle and become noisy after a while. It would be a cheap fan in there unfortunately. SH02's fan with the cover off is very noisy. However the lid when closed (as it should be) reduces this a lot. Whilst it is still increasing to target temperature it still is noisy. But after target reached and just maintaining temperature is relatively quiet. I could probably sleep through this. And would be quieter than a 3D printer itself. But time will tell whether the fan is of higher build quality for a longer life or not Controls : SH01 only has 3 buttons which were not that intuitive. SH02's controls are somewhat flashy in comparison being touchscreen. Tapping the power button does nothing, you have to hold it down to power up & down showing an animation of display appearing (see video). Temperature : SH01 has 40/45/50°C only. SH02 has 40/45/50/55/60/65/70°C choices. You can use the presets can be chosen between PLA, TPU, PETG, ABS, ASA, PVA, PC, PA, PP which will choose recommended heat/timer settings too. Timer : SH01 can be set from 6-12 hours in 1 hour increments SH02 you can manually set the temperature between 40°C and 70°C and the timer between 2 hours and 98 hours. I guess for those moments when you really want to be sure the moisture is gone! Other SH02 features not on SH01 There are two desiccant holders at the bottom which measure 70mm x 50mm x 10mm. The ones in the photo show the color-changing silica gel I have fit nicely. Also there is a hole at the top of the lid labeled "OPEN THIS TO LET VAPOR OUT" Other observations I placed a thermometer/hygrometer on top of my filament whilst drying. There was a 1%-2% humidity difference between dryer display temp and my own sensor. Temperature differed by about 2°C less whilst at target temp. Despite the label at the bottom that reads "CAUTION: VOLTAGE 110V HOT ROTATING SHAFT" this is a multi-voltage device that will work on 110V or 220V in those countries. The angle of the filament holes are slightly different. It shouldn't make much of a different for placement for those that print directly from the filament dryer. Conclusion Yes it costs more, but also so much more capable filament dryer. Worth the price to me.

It's my first dryer. Works well although I have a suggestion to make it more reliable. Feeders on this dryer are angled too much against the spools inside. As you can see on picture I alredy printed a additional angle fixing feeders which making more sense 😉, but that's my opinion. I can fully recommend this dryer yo anyone.
