Handmade beauty
I like collecting brass pans, pots, etc. This particular item was a very good fine. It is well-made and I am particularly fond of the hammered surface. It was larger than I thought it would be, which is fine with me. It is very solid and a very good weight. I am using mine to decorate the kitchen so I have yet to use it for cooking. It’s really too beautiful to use for cooking. Ha ha

Season your copperware first, and food won't stick
I read that tin-lined copper cookware should be seasoned before cooking in it for the first time. I used a tbsp of sesame oil to coat all sides of the pot interior and heated on medium high heat. Then, after cooling it I wiped off most of the oil. My first dish was seared chicken tenderloins with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and topped with avocado. Cleanup was easy. The food slid right out. Never use a metal stirring utensil or scour pad and the interior will retain its good looks. Remove leftovers to a container to protect the tin lining from acid. Always handwash and buff dry immediately. Buffing too hard to remove dried-on water spots could wear down the copper. The packaging for these pots was so minimal. It really needs to be improved with more packing material. My pot lid had a tiny scratch when I opened the box. This is a quality pot, overall.

Good looks, bad quality.
Poor quality pot. I cooked a chicken rice soup, nothing complicated, and the pot immediately showed damage on the copper (dark small dots, the copper disappeared), the pot interior got a water level stain that would not go away upon cleaning. Careful cleaning, as directed by manufacturer. When I cooked the second soup, the damages increased, so I returned the product. I got refunded immediately.

Versatile and Stunning
I have had this pot for a couple of weeks now and it has quickly become my go to for everything. I have used it for poaching fish, made pasta sauce and braised chicken. It works equally well on a stovetop as in the oven. And clean up is a breeze with a little soft bar keepers friend. I would buy this again and again.

Great Copper Pot!
Very well made in terms of shape, material and design. Copper material allowed for the uniform distribution of heat for its contents. Exactly what we were looking for in a copper pot! We've only been using it for a week or so but it's surviving our experiments where this pot is used for hours and hours in a day!

Tin-lined vs non-lined; how to care
2020 I bought another larger size and it came with lid dented. Trying to return and will update when receive a new one. 2019 Usually, all copper pots and pans inside are lined with tin OR stainless steel. The ones that are not lined with anything are meant for non-acidic food. Tin is kinda fragile, and in several years of use you might have to re-tin it. I know I wouldn’t bother with it; my intention is just use it until it gets bad. To prolong the usage, be careful with tin, because food WILL get stuck, especially when using high flames. ——————————————————————— • use low flame slowly increasing to medium, almost never high • use soft silicone utensils, DO NOT use wood it’s still too harsh for fragile tin layer • when cleaning Tin side (inside) DO NOT scratch; fill with water and boil then clean without scratching. No chemicals. • copper side of the pan will get dark ugly spots (it’s real copper). Do not scratch copper side either, use salt & vinegar, wipe, dark spots will disappear in front of your eyes. ——————————————————————

This is a great looking item and quality is as good as previously ordered pot was. Shipped and received very quickly. Only problem was that it was shipped to the same address as my first order and not to the address I selected for the second order.

This product is a high quality, highly practical & good looking kitchen item, which I have received several complements thereon. It is fairly expensive but is absolutely superior quality and is very durable. The copper pan is from Turkey & I found the delivery process fine, along with customer service. The pan requires to be thoroughly polished once in a while if you want to maintain its fabulous look.
