pretty good for what it is
Even though I am an avid drinker of coffee, both regular and decaf, I've also always been a fan of these sorts of "coffee alternative" products. The market availability of them changes so fast it's hard to develop a brand loyalty for any of them. The truth of the matter is that I really can't tell a huge substantive difference from one to the other. The biggest discrepancy comes in strength, so you have to use more of one or less of another to get the same overall experience. And most of them are better with milk and sugar than just by themselves. Mostly I just like something hot and slightly bitter every once in a while, it's a soothing experience and I don't always want that to be coffee. Overall though I think Barleycup gets points over Pero/Caro because it's less bitter, and has a slightly more "rich" flavor, with a longer-lasting finish of molasses and smoke. And the jar seems to be lasting a pretty long time, so it feels like it was cost-effective. I think I have Inka available in the health food store nearby, and I think that's cheaper, so I think at the end of the day I'm going to still default to just getting the one that's easiest to come by and adjusting measurements accordingly. None of them have really "wowed" me enough to really aggressively seek one out over the others.

Caffeine free hot drinks
I’ve always liked this drink ever since I started it in England. Didn’t realized Amazon carry this product. It’s good to know it’s available on Amazon. I will keep reordering when this is fully consumed.
