Skiving Knife Leather Working Tools

I,m giving it 5 stars sometime I do a great job with it and other times not I,m convinced I need a few hours with it to learn proper technique it stays sharp and looks very nice I'm new to leather work so ??? It,s a great knife, Part 2of review I now have spent a bit of time practicing with this knife I do a fair amount of skiving for a new leather student and took the time with my scrap to play with it imitating what I need to do I can say now at any price this is a good knife it hold it,s edge feels good in hand and cuts very nicely I did strop it after a few hours and it sharpens fast and really stayed sharp for a long time.

Quality tool work great for my work

Purchased this knife to trim off a pair of new sandals that the straps were too long. This knife is very sharp, and worked great; just what I needed. Safe the box it comes in for safe storage. Would recommend this knife.

I bought this thing to thinnen Leather on my Westernbridals. I had to lengthen thise and needed the leather on some parts alot thinner. It worked like a champ. The whole procedure took me 5 minuts and the result was perfect. The tool is sturdy and heavy in the hand. It gives you a great grip. Top!

I should’ve known that you get what you pay for, this knife couldn’t cut warm butter. I tried sharpening it on a whetstone for 20 minutes and it was no better.

I was really concerned when first buying this knife because there was no reviews nor any videos on it but I have to say this Has to be one of the better leather cutting knives out that with out spinning a small fortune. Right out of the box It was sharp to almost perfection.
