Q: Are the fiber connectors of type "SC"?

The GT-802 has SC connectors and is for multi-mode fiber. GT-802S is exactly the same except for single mode-fiber.

Q: This states it converts to 1000 sx/lx. sx is multimode but lx is typically singlemode fiber. can this be really be used with either fiber types?

The description incorrectly included another model GT-802S. GT-802 is a 1000SX model with multimode. Sorry for the confusion. It will be corrected shortly.

Q: Is it cisco compatible? i.e. can i connect it with tp-link mc220l + sfp module?

We recommand using GT-805A with Multi/Single-Mode SFP+ module. Planet MGB-SX2 is Multi-Mode and MGB-LX Single Mode.
