Vichy Mineral Double Glow Peel Face Mask

I love this mask. The smell is subtle & you notice an instant glow after. It’s my go to gift for friends & family.

A lot more gentle than other chemical exfoliants that I've tried, but still gets a really smooth and deep result. Love it.

So far I have used this mask once so I will be coming back to update this next week when the jar is finished. This is the travel size so the glass jar has enough for 3, maybe 4 uses in it. Since they recommend using it 1 to 2 times a week, I will definitely make sure I do the 2 times per week until it is gone. The only reason that I deducted a star is because I'm not a fan of the smell. It's like a chemical rose smell and I personally don't find that really pleasant at all. Especially for a product that is applied under the nose. I applied it to my face, avoiding the eye are like instructed, and waited the 5 minutes for it to dry before massaging it in. When I was massaging, it turned a bit gritty which is actually a good thing because the grit will exfoliate the skin. It wasn't too much grittiness, surprisingly just enough to do the job. After massaging it in you are supposed to rinse with water. I then patted my face dry with a towel. I am pleased with the way my face felt after using this mask. It left the dry places moisturized and my face felt nice and smooth. I'm looking forward to finishing the jar and seeing if this is going to be worth purchasing the larger version. That's one of the things I really like about buying the travel size, you can test a product out more than once to see how it really performs but after this first use, I think this one is going to do just fine. Update 10/11/18- So it has almost been 2 weeks and I have to say the mask is still nice. I'm leaving the stars at 4. I MIGHT purchase the larger version if I catch it on sale at some point. It's a good mask but really doesn't do anything out of the ordinary for me. It moisturizes and my skin still felt soft and hydrated after using it. Other than that, there's not a whole lot to say about it.

For years I have been looking for an exfoliating mask that is effective while not too harsh. I have fair skin and use retinoid cream every other day. With age my skin has become more reactive and "acts out" if I do not baby it. This mask is amazing! No stinging, irritation, or redness and got rid of the small, dry flakes that are common side effect of retinol. I applied the gel in a thin layer, left it on for 10 minutes, massaged my face for 30 seconds and washed it off. Result was skin with the brightness of a twenty year old and I am more than double that! Will order the full size next

I love the texture, the smell - everything about it. Very good value. The scrub particles are so small and gentle. Much better than in other products of this kind.

I have been purchasing a lot of facial type creams and items during covid, just trying to do self care and pamper myself. I bought this with that same thought in mind. I have used different types of masks in the past, and I have never had a bad experience. When I tried this, I had a bad experience. Maybe it was because of my rosacea, I don;t know, but my face was red and I broke out after using this.

This isn't a peel off mask it's a deep cleansing scrub/mask you simply apply and wait about 5 to 10 minutes, massage with fingertips and then wash with warm water! You skin will feel so clean and smooth

Have used this product for years. It's a excellent product that lightly exfoliates thstvyou leave on for your skin to drink what it wishes too and needs. I highly recommend it along with the Vichy line.

Ich bin allgemein ein großer Fan dieser Maskenreihe von Vichy. Diese Maske hat einen Peelingeffekt man muss sie also nicht allzu lange einwirken lassen. Die Haut fühlt sich danach super durchblutet und frisch an. Die Maske riecht super. Danach sollte man allerdings unbedingt eine Tagescreme auftragen, für diejenigen mit empfindlicher gereizter Haut. Ca. 5 Min Einwirkzeit Kann man allerdings auch mit den anderen beiden Masken kombinieren. Ich habe zum Beispiel eine ziemliche Mischhaut, daher verwende ich diese Maske nur für die T-Zone und die feuchtigkeitsspendende für den Rest.
