I forgot how wonderful these food choppers are! I haven't used one in YEARS and I had a bunch of stuff to chop for Thanksgiving. I ordered it, came quickly and put it right to use. Wow, did it ever work great and save me so much time. Kept looking for more stuff to chop!

I had a vegetable chopper I loved (for years) but one of the blades broke on the chop I used most often so I got this as a replacement. It works really well. You get a uniform professional chop, faster than I could cut things up myself, and the fact that they are the same size means they will all cook at the same rate (yeah!). It really helps make a soup, etc... look a lot more conventionally store made. Truthfully I really only use the one pattern so far too chop with, and probably will most. With the tool that comes with it to comb the chopper part that works well. The bottom piece took some finagling with it to find out how the two pieces will come apart for easer cleaning. And I still have to fiddle with it a lot to get them apart. They do come apart, although I saw no instructions that told me that.

Pros: o The two dicing grids are great o Moderately easy to clean o Roomy enough tray for a couple good-sized vegetables (onion + pepper, for instance) o Reasonable price Cons: o Short: longer would provide more leverage. As is, requires quite a bit of pressure to operate. o Narrow: wider would allow vegetables that haven't been quartered to be processed Tip: o Don't try to put hamburger thrugh the dicers. :) Summary: I use the larger dicing grid almost every day. Most importantly for me, it turns what was an eye-watering job of slicing up onions into about 45 seconds of clear-eyed, blissful ease. I just wish it was a little bigger in both width and length, which would both make it physically easier to use, and get the job done even faster. As it is, I typically have to quarter (at least) my veggies before the chunks are small enough to feed this beast.

I got this for my wife for Christmas last year and she loves to cook. Surprisingly, she had never had one of these before and she uses it all the time! I also love it since it cuts my veggies a lot quicker and more evenly than I would by hand. The quality has seemed good. This was really a four and a half star review simply because i wish it came apart for easier washing. Not that it’s hard, it just is awkward to fit in the dishwasher.

Got this on March 16th so I have been using for about 6 weeks. Bought this to dice veggies for my Boxer dog since she has a kidney issue and can only have limited protein. This bent from chopping cauliflower. I have to push the bent part back in place every time I use it. It was nice while it worked.

I love this! Works perfect! No more teary eyes from onions!
