Why does it say "organic" in the title?

My best guess is the seeds that fill the pillow are raise organically...never sprayed. BEST PILLOW i have ever had and I have a very bad neck!

Yes it does keep its shape as you placed and manipulated it ready for sleep. However, sometimes it is necessary to re adjust during the night.

can I use this to support my lower back while I'm sleeping?

Sure, why not? I like this pillow because it provides firm support for me when I sleep on my side. But I also use it to prop myself up in bed. It fills the space at my lower back.
