These create a nice seal so there are no leaks with the bottles while traveling. I use them everyday and they are very easy to clean.

I made the mistake of putting together a bottle when I was in rush. Evidently, I didn't close the cap all the way - unbeknownst to me.... However, in fairness to myself, I have to admit that some of the caps are very difficult to seal on the Dr. Brown's Options Bottle, 4 Ounce, 4-Pack . This is the one flaw that I find with the Dr. Brown bottles and it is one that can be very problematic. I had to rush my dog to the vet with my newborn baby in a downpour and did not have the time to take the entire diaper bag so I just threw the bottle in my purse - thinking it was sealed. The vet was close anyway and I figured if I needed anything it would just be a bottle to soothe baby. Well, in the vets office I started to smell the formula (which is pretty gross - Nutramigen with Enflora LGG Baby Formula - 19.8 oz Powder Can (Pack of 4) ) I didn't have much time to investigate and I didn't think much of it until I noticed that it was leaking in my car. And then as I walked into the house, a trail of formula preceded me. The fluid had seeped out and soaked through the purse (which was a little crocheted purse that my grandma had owned... it was a sentimental item I kept when she passed). I was pretty upset about that because this kind of mess is the kind that can't be cleaned and I'm going to have to throw the purse away, which really saddens me. Lesson learned. I purchased these caps immediately after this incident and will never travel without them. They do the job with no uncertainty. I only wish that they actually came with the bottles and weren't something that had to be purchased separately. It would also help if the bottles didn't leak and if the caps snapped on the way they should. But alas, they don't - so this is the only option to the Options.

These are a must have! They are great for traveling with. They do not leak at all. I mix the formula with it on and it makes it so much easier. I would definitely recommend these over the travel disks.
