The best air purifier out there
This is a top range air purifier. Probably the best in the market at the moment. It covers up to 62sqm so definitely a big room or open plan. We use it on the ground floor and it cleans the air through the whole kitchen, dinning, hallway. Although it is a big device,it looks stylish and elegant. It is very easy to set up. Just place the filters, remove certain plastic covers and plug in. It sort of does the rest for you really. This air purifier has everything you can possibly need. It uses filter to clean a variety of contaminants such as pollen, dust, pet dander, mould, bacteria and viruses with its so called GermShield Technology. Its control panel is easy to use and manange, thanks to its colour coded system. This system tells you the quality of the air through. We normally set it on auto. Sometimes the reading shows no pollutants so it doesn't need to work, other times (if we've cooked, if there's barbecues in the neighbourhood, or we've had the door to the garden open etc.) it goes from yellow up to red, which means severe/lots of air pollutants. Even when on red after about half an hour to an hour it will bring it down to zero again. It sort of produces cool air as it cleans and circulates it. It's silent and quiet, you wouldn't expect it from this size. Has a mild humming which is actually quite soothing. I find it incredible that it can detect things like viruses. On auto mode it adjusts how fast the fan needs to work. But you can change it. The app is great as you can see all the data there. Ideal for people with asthma or allergies or if you want to use it preventatively. It can cover a high square footage, so it's ideal to put in big rooms or offices. It will tell you if it needs a filter replacement. It also claims to use less energy than other ones due to its smart technology. The company offers 1 year warranty which can be expanded to 5 if you register the product and follow their instructions.

Superb piece of kit.
I have suffered from hay fever for years, with constant sneezing every day and then associated coughing. I have tried eye drops, which work perfectly well on the eyes but the rest of the body was at the mercy of the pollen. Therefore I thought I would give an air purifier a go. This one, which is available at for 862 pounds on the website of the product (I mention this as Amazon is not currently showing the product as available via Amazon), is certainly expensive but it is clearly a gold medal purifier. My hay fever showed a marked improvement after a day of using it and my wife, who suffers from asthma, is hopeful of having a similar reaction. The purifier is of a good size and I found a perch for it in the corner of my house, with it being a conversation piece when people first see it: ‘Oh my, what is that, is it a Dalek?’ Personally I think it more resembles a robot from Blake’s 7, but I can see the point they are making. Once this is switched on the sound really is very minimal, with it giving off a barely discernible buzz in the background as it goes to work. I stuck it on auto and immediately saw it give off a light blue light which means the air quality is good. Then, about 30 minutes later, it sprung back to life with the light changing to red, indicating bad air. Two minutes later, with it giving off a blast of cold air, the blue light returned. This beauty is going to work superbly in the summer, as the cold air is so refreshing. As a result I think it doubles up perfectly well as a mobile air-conditioning unit. When you put it onto maximum it is reasonably loud, although you can still hear the telly and have a conversation with it on. Anyhow, you will not really need it on maximum as auto prods it into life throughout the day. One thing I should mention is that it was really easy to get going, you simply plug in the plug (both an English plug and a two prong one were provided) and away you go. Once going it is easy to operate, both manually or via your mobile smart phone. The wheels on the bottom of it make it easy to move around the house and I could certainly carry it up the stairs by myself. I found it handy to take to different rooms, to see where the dust was. You could get a couple I suppose to save yourself the bother but, once done, you can leave it in the room that gets the most use, generally the living room. However, saying that, I will definitely move this into the bedroom when the temperature heats up as it will make sleeping so much easier. I must say that this is an absolutely outstanding product; sleek, well-made and superbly engineered. The best Swedish export since Perkele (a band).

All round great air purifier
I’ve tried a number of different air purification devices over the years from the ones built in to the stylish Dyson fans to the large and bulky Philips version suitable for even the largest of rooms. While I hadn’t heard of Blueair before or any of their “Made in Sweden” products I had of course heard of the parent company Unilever. Getting the product set up is pretty straightforward. You remove the plastic coverings from the filter on the inside, plug in the provided UK or European leads (winding any excess into the handily provided base) then you’re pretty much away. The unit itself is tall but slender, similar to a tower fan but perhaps a little taller than many. Despite this, the combination of shapes makes it look attractive and you can also slot it away too thanks to the option of either controls on the top of the unit or linking up to an app. Linking to the app was also easier than some I’ve tried, with the standard process for many of these gadgets required of connecting via Bluetooth then providing details to connect to the WiFi network. Once you’ve done this you get details to your phone of the current air quality (several different measures of particle size, gas) as well as temperature and humidity with the option to automatically control the filtration of the air based on this. There is also a night mode which allows it to run quieter and without the otherwise quite bright coloured lights on the top. When running the device itself is generally pretty quiet. It can get through enough air for quite a large room and while it’s difficult to be able to measure the difference (apart from using the provided data on the app) you can feel some movement as it passes through the device. Similar to many other similar items there will be a need to replace the large - this is straightforward if potentially expensive. Overall then this is probably one of the best if not the top air purifier I’ve tried. While it doesn’t have other functionality like being a fan, heater or (de)humidifier it concentrates on one thing and appears to do it pretty well.

TRULY AMAZING AIR FILTER
I will review this product according to our experience, omitting technical details for other reviewers with more technical know-how. Based on our experience, this air filter is definitely very good. Our young son enthusiastically describes it as ‘the Rolls Royce of Air Filters!” The A.I. can identify the toxic particulate matter & volatile organic compounds in the air and the helpful app actually measures them. Really impressive. When we are cooking, the indicator immediately picks up the change in air purity and, when in auto mode, it rapidly purifies the air. When we need to filter the air quickly we increase the fan speed. My partner has sensitive lungs & finds bonfire smoke, car exhaust & cooking on our gas stove constricts his breathing. So, as a family, we have tried many air filters over the years, some cheap, others expensive. This product is top of the range. The best we have used. Truly amazing. You can immediately notice the air getting purified as the indicator as well as the app shows that it is getting better. The dust filter can easily be accessed by release buttons on both sides of the air purifier. I clean them often using a microfibre cloth or duster. This will help improve filtration and prolong the life of the machine itself. One thing that I wish this air filter had is a shutdown timer. But we can always switch it off when we don't need it anyway. Left on auto, it only filters to the extent needed. Visually, the product is stylish & attractive. It moves easily on wheels. Quiet to operate. Obviously well made. We are delighted with it. I rarely wax lyrical about machines, but this is a sexy, Swedish beauty. We love it.

Nothing like it! Invaluable Home product.
Our local & home air quality; I live in SE London, on the 5th floor in an area surrounded by blocks of flats and new builds, whilst locally there is almost Always some road works or a building being torn down and rebuilt nearby. The borough of Greenwich is considered to be OK with air pollution, but I still live just within the first 3 zones of a major city, thus the local area sees traffic literally everyday, and its very close to public transport links making it a busy area too. The particular block i live in is a sturdy cement-block of a building that has seen its fair share of repairs and alterations. Very recently they have replaced the fire safety, lights and buzzer systems (lots of drilling causing dust and microparticles in and around the building). The exterior has perpetually peeling paint work. Personally, within our household, we have daily smokers, as well as a very pompous Cat who likes to malt everywhere she goes, whatever time of the year it is. The place is also due a redecoration. We are foodies, we do cook regularly here. So now you have an idea of what the air pollution may be like here (open windows or not). In Conclusion: This machine is on a different level to Any of the purifiers i have seen, tried and used in the past. It outclasses them All by a country-mile! WIFI connectivity. App controls. Actual readings and stats. But also, Very simply shows you on the left LED, particulates and, on the right LED, gases. It is measuring the air quality for you, and a simple tap of the auto button sets it off purifying the air in the room and automatically adjusting as it detects the levels returning to good quality. Even the Cat loves this Beauty of a device! (She Would!) - Everyone at this property has been Astounded by its efficiency. Guests are in awe of it as soon as they see it and immediately start conversing in consideration of their own air quality scenarios at home (especially being City people). Also, If you do Yoga and/or meditation and/or work-out from home you understand the importance of breathing - AIR quality is of the same importance as Water Quality. If you smoke, do yourself a favour and invest in one of these as soon as humanly possible. Insense or sage burners, get one. Chefs and cooks, get one. Alergies or breathing issues of Any kind, get one. The first (smaller) Air Purifier I got was a good lesson on the importance of purifying the air for a tiny single room, but this BLUEAIR appliance Really Outperforms any air purifier i have handled in my lifetime. Buyers tips - Pay attention to the space you have (SQ-M) and the CADR rating of the appliance, as these are the two important variables when making a purchase decision (besides the HEPA filter). Unless you live in a Mansion, this BlueAir 7740 should cover your SQ-M And CADR with excellent peace of mind. Thanks for reading and I hope I this helps with any decisions you are taking into consideration.

BLUEAIR HealthProtect 7740i Air Purifier
Where to start? Comes packaged really well. The manual is thicker than most of the paperbacks I've recently bought. It's a heavy item so have a two-person prep ready. So easy to set up, you'd be forgiven for thinking the range of features it has under the hood. Used in a large open-plan office space. Pretty much silent, which staff were very relieved by compared to previous filters I've used. Astonishingly portable once set up. Easy to configure features so it would auto turn off for evenings/weekends as required. Trusted filtration standards. I haven't had a formal air test since using this but given other reviews and the Blueair brand reputation, I've got no reason to believe it isn't doing a fantastic job. Perhaps essential in this day and age. Brilliant product.

An absolute game changer.
I've been looking at getting an air purifier for the office for some time. This one is an absolute monster and will work for areas up to 60m2. The unit itself looks like a giant PS5. It's beautifully designed and engineered, being made from really solid material. That's just as well because it's BIG. over 40cm wide and deep and VERY tall, so tall that it won't fit under a kitchen work surface or desk. Even if it did you wouldn't be able to access the buttons on top (although you could use the app). It works brilliantly, a total revelation. Using auto mode the purifier goes a bit Knightrider and assesses the air quality of the room in a few seconds, before setting about rectifying it. In the first room i tested it in - the unit established that it was perfect...in my office, however (which is very much a closed space), everything went red. The fan went into overdrive (loud) and spent 10 mins turning the atmosphere from red, to amber, green and the blue. Not only was the outcome immediately obvious to my breathing, but you could see it visually. The room went from standard definition to 8K! Honestly, it's so strange. The removable double filter can be cleaned with a vacuum and the manual recommends replacing every 6 months - at a cost of around £80. This might sound expensive but if you suffer from any allergies...or smoke, this machine is essential. Don't even think about it. Perfect.
