Its great for gaming

Honestly a really good headset the 7.1 is actually really good especially for it's price and the material is really good for long gaming sessions but the only problem I have is the weight of the headphones it's a bit heavier then an average gaming headset most likely because of the metal sides which hold the headset, also the long wire gets quite annoying but if managed properly you are good to go and the mic is okish for it's price I say u can get a better mic but it's good headset overall this headset is really good I would strongly recommend this headset to anyone thinking to buy a usb 7.1 headset.

Initially I was quite please with this product as I feel the quality was on match with the price point, however, after further usage I became disappointed. Firstly the fit is really very poor; I am a 30 year old man and the smallest setting is still far too large. Furthermore, the pivoting hinge of the ear cups causes them to fold away from your head given that they are behind the ear and that there is insufficient pressure to maintain them in contact. The audio quality is also lackluster; granted, my point of reference in my Bose QC35s, however I had expected a rich (perhaps over embellished) HiFi experience from a gaming specific headset, alas no, flat, dull sound. Finally, and granted by my own error, I dropped the headset approximately 1m from the floor. This cause the mic-side ear cup to break away and shortly after (despite gluing efforts) for the wire to sever internally and the mic to stop working. There's never any accounting for user errors of course but I do feel any consumer product should of survive any such mild mistreatment.
