I recently purchased this 9” x 12” sketchbook, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The paper quality is outstanding—thick enough to handle various mediums without bleeding through. The top spiral binding allows for easy flipping and provides a flat surface for drawing. It’s perfect for both beginners and experienced artists. Highly recommend this sketchbook for anyone looking for quality and durability. 

I bought this pad because the description mentioned a smooth surface and it is a quite affordable drawing pad. I do have some larger, much more expensive Bristol paper I use with larger drawings, but I like to work on a 9 x 12 size mostly. The first drawing I did was with colored pencil and markers, just to check the quality of the paper, and there was no bleeding from the markers and the smooth surface was quite nice. Next, I drew a self portrait with high-quality drawing pencils and I quite like the texture of this paper. If you like paper with a lot of tooth, this is not the paper for you, but if you like to blend and have cleaner lines, I highly recommend this drawing pad.

Very easy to use. Perfect size for travel. A quality sketchbook. Artist name is easy to write at the bottom.

Paper is thick and of good quality. It was packaged really well so it suffered no damage getting to me. The only reason I deducted a star is that there is bleed through when you use alcohol ink markers. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Really nice sized sketching book

Wow! I am so happy with this purchase! Now that I have done some art projects I can honestly say it is perfect for my needs. I turned it sideways and am using in a landscape format so I had fun painting the cover. It opens long for grid journaling and large sketchbook style spreads. Great for practice and holds mixed media very well. Pages are thick enough for all my various art supplies. Having a blast with this book. Has a five star rating for a reason. Will buy again…. Don’t hesitate and Enjoy!
