Buy it great product , easy to use. The material is lightweight enough for one person to maneuver and install the double sided tape or Velcro option correctly and it will last a really long time. Great product thank you so much.

I painted my garage floors the cheap way with basic cement paint and bought paint chips for added looks. The problem is hot tires from driving on the roads and winter gunk will wear off the paint. This garage carpet rug with rubber backing is affordable and will provide the protection of both. So I have $250 total into the garage paint, paint chips and Carpet rug compared to a pro paint of $4000 plus. After winter is over you can gently use a power washer and broom or squeegee to clean the carpet to the outside. Also a few mentioned wrinkles and folds when receiving. A easy fix after leaving it lay flat on floor for a few days is take a small towel and a steam clothes iron and steam out those real quick. My box came without the double sided tape but wasn’t planning on using it based on other reviewers say g buy double sided better quality carpet tape. My local Menards had indoor/outdoor carpet tape and used that for the entire underside. Directions say place tape in certain spots which might do and they don’t send enough tape for entire perimeter then you won’t wish you had later and have to fix anything. Start with tape on one short end, then do one long side, then other long slide and finish with other short end.

Ordered the 22' Extra Large size. Glad I did cause the extra width also provides more coverage and floor protection for walking around vehicle. Had to trim the length and carpet was easy to cut, but it was difficult to cut in straight line due to not having a long enough straight edge. May be an easier way, Carpet comes rolled and folded, after 4 weeks still waiting for some creases to lay down. The included tape works good on a bare cement floor. You may want to have a helper to secure carpet when taping edges down so it lays flat, but tape can be repositioned without to much problems. Tires don't track marks and after a couple days of heavy rain still stayed clean and dried quickly from wet car. Easy to clean too. Overall we like the look, thickness and texture of carpet, I opted for the Armorall due to US made , quality shows.

We were looking for a rug to ensure that we did not slop on our garage floor when it got wet and looked good in the process. This product was great, the double sided tape worked perfectly on our epoxy painted garage floor and was easy to install. The manufacturer answered all of our questions ands very helpful. They can supply extra double sided tape if needed.

Updated 2 years later: Attached is a second photo 2 years after installing these mats. They have held up very well! I keep my garage insanely clean and even have an old Roomba scheduled to vacuum it three times a week. If you take the time to install these properly, they should last for many many years! Original comments: I first looked to install rubber mats but when I found these felt mats I decided to give them a shot. Proper installation will take some effort so if you're looking for something to just roll out and be done...this is not the product for you. Here are some installation points of interest for anyone considering these: - They come folded lengthwise and then rolled so there will be creases when you lay these out. You may need to actually iron these creases out using a clothing iron in steam mode as I did. - They are folded with the waterproof backing inward so "DO NOT" let these sit in the sun rolled up otherwise the backing will melt together and tear when you try to unfold them. - The packaging warns that the waterproof backing can (and I expect will) fuse to my painted (epoxy) garage floor so I do not see removing these to clean but rather will need to do this in place which is fine for my standard garage. - The packaging also recommends that you tape down the corners with carpet tape to prevent them from catching and rolling up with a sticky car tire. - While these did lay down fairly well I wanted an absolutely clean/flat installation so I ended up taping all edges down with carpet tape. Doing this will give you a very nice looking perfectly flat installation albeit a more semi-permanent install. Overall I am very pleased with the result considering the effort and we'll see how well they hold up. I may append this review in a year or two on how durable they have been.

My wife and I recently epoxied our garage floor ourselves, it was a ton of work but worth it! Even the best epoxies will start yellowing where the tires drive over time, leaving yellow tracks in the garage. To combat this, I bought this mat. The pictures were taken just minutes after pulling it from the box an laying it out. Several reviews state they had trouble with the corners not laying flat, using double sided tape, being too thin, ect. I didn't have any of these issues, nor do I think it is too thin for the purpose I purchased it for. As long as you don't try to adjust your steering wheel too much the mat will stay in place. I actually like that it is thin, it makes it easy to handle and lay out to your liking. The rubber backing is nice and seems to have a nice grip on the epoxy. Time will tell how this holds up over winters, but again what I'm really after is protecting the epoxy from direct tire contact. If it holds up I'll purchase another one for the other side of the garage. At that time I'll also update this review. UPDATE: After having the first one all summer, I purchased a second one for the other side of the garage. I thought it did a great job protecting the epoxy finish, as you can see I added a picture with the first mat I purchased pulled up, showing the bare floor. It is true you can power wash the mat out as advertised, I just did this earlier today and it cleaned up nicely. You can tell the difference from the mat I had over the summer as opposed to the one I just bought as the first one has faded a little, not a deal breaker though. The real test will be seeing how these hold up over the winter. I'll post another update in the spring when I clean them out. My recommendation still stands. SECOND UPDATE: I still like these mats very much. Although after two winters I had a hard time getting all the midwest salt out of them with my power washer since they do absorb a ton of water. Wear and tear and multiple washes seemed to wear out the mat and it certainly didn't look as nice as when it was new. Anyone dealing with heavy municipal salt in the winter is going to have to put more work into maintaining these mats. If you live in a climate that mostly sees rain you'll get far more life out of it. I still like them and I recently purchased a replacement. At the end of the day the mat takes the wear and tear and helps protect the epoxy which is ultimately what I wanted.

This review is for the XL size (22' x 8' 10"). The product itself is really good and does add a touch of "showroom quality" to my garage. I'm using this as a stop-gap before I do a full floor coating. I wanted something that would look nice and be serviceable in the meantime. Here's how I broke out my rating: - Protection: 5 Stars - Doesn't slip (double-sided tape helps, but not necessary), hides cement cracks and prevents tracking dirt indoors. - Easy to Clean: 4 Stars - Because of the material it tends to hold grass/weeds within, so "just vacuum" often isn't thorough enough. - Eco Friendly Material: 3 Stars - Thank you for helping preserve the planet, but even light weight cars will tend to roll up the material when parked, especially if you turn your wheels slightly on garage entry, so tape really is a good idea. - Installation: 1 Star - Unlike the product picture and claim, "Install in minutes, simply roll out", this came folded and reversed (meaning that it required a full unfold, then flip to get material side upright and in place). That may not be a big deal for smaller sizes, but flipping a 22 foot mat over vs. rolling it in place makes a difference as this is not necessarily lightweight. Install in minutes = 20 minutes. (Tip: get a friend to help with the XL size.) Would I buy it again, yes! The product is great, but the guy in the product photo had a lot more fun installing than I did. :)

This product is great! I have an older garage with cracks in the floor + stains. I didn’t have the time or money to do an epoxy floor, it’s a 3 car garage so everything was a big chunk of money, but it looked terrible + was always dirty. So I tried this. It’s easy to cut (thin) i loved it so much, I ordered another roll + I did my entire garage floor with it. The tape is super adhesive (make sure you have it in the correct place because once it’s down it’s not moving) I wish I would have used more tape, a couple of spots wrinkle up under the bikes. So I would use it in the center in addition to the edges that they recommended. It keeps my garage cleaner, has held up to my vacuuming every day, looks good, was less expensive than all the other options I found, makes it easier for me to turn my motorcycles around in the garage without losing my footing unlike an area rug which can slide. It was easy to install. I would for sure buy this again! Awesome product!
