These are so fun. I wasn't sure about them when we opened them because they look like a page that's so colorful its already colored but its so neat because when you add the water the colors on it blend to make it look just like water colors. Do keep in mind it is like water color when wet and may possibly stain. I would recommend painting in a surface that you dont care if it gets ruined. You can see in the picture i posted where it has been painted and where it hasnt.

All you need is a cup of water, brushes are included. What a great idea! The watercolors are printed onto the pictures and spread with a little water and very little effort. My four-year-old granddaughter loves to sit and paint with me. She is much faster than I am, so she often completes two or three before I finish one but I'm trying harder to stay in the lines! Not the best project for a wooden surface as you will get some on the project surface, but countertops wipe off easily. Does not stain skin or clothing.

Great paint with water set. Removed a star because the pages already are quite bright and colorful before the painting and therefore the experience lacks the magical WOW of watching colors appear (which I remember from both my childhood and raising my own kids 20-30 years ago). So, painting with water pushes the color around but doesn't really make it much more brilliant or deep. The images are fun and the paper is thick enough not to tear or disintegrate while painting.

I bought these for my 2-year-old grandchild as her older sibling has a paint set and I want her to be able to paint too. It works amazingly well and she loves painting with just water just be careful because if there's a lot of water the colors will blend together. This is something we have taken with us to restaurants to keep them occupied and it works amazingly.

These are incredible for kids of all ages. I have several kids, ages 2, 4, and 6. These are so easy to use, both for the kids and for parents! I love that I don’t have to haul out all the paints. Simply give your kids a cup of water and you’re good to go. The paint colors are vibrant, the pages dry quickly, and there’s a nice picture variety. I will be purchasing more, without a doubt.

I have a 3, 6 and 7 year old. I didn't have to worry about making too much of a mess. My 3 year old enjoy using water and the paintbrush to use this activity.
