Good quality equipment for a very good price.
The beauty of this product is that it has everything you need in the box to set it up and get shooting. The price point is also very good for what you get. A lot of reviewers describe this as "entry level" or "beginner" but I happen to think that this diminishes the quality and capability of what you are getting right out of the box. If you are in the market for a compound bow, don't want to spend an arm and a leg, and you are going to be using it for everyday target shooting or hunting, this product is perfectly suitable for those endeavors. Unless you are a competitive archer or such, this should be sufficient for the vast majority of people. The Good: . Price is reasonable . Build quality is good - it doesn't feel like a toy or super cheap . It has everything you need to get loosing off, right out of the box The Neutral . Some of the accessories are not necessarily the best but this comes down to personal preference. I ordered the following per my personal needs: - a different arrow rest/whisker biscuit. - 12 extra arrows and some hunting arrow heads. - A range finder to aid with sighting in - A cheap arrow quiver - A 4 finger release to replace the wrist release that it comes with. The Needs Improvement . I didn't think much of the included instructions, and the online instructions were identical with no more detail. You really need to do your own googling and Youtube if you need instructions or a guide to tuning the bow and installing accessories. They do provide instructions on increasing the draw weight and changing the draw length, but that's about it. You're on your own for installing accessories, sighting in the sight, and fine tuning. So be aware, this is not a toy and does require some research for beginners with compound bows or bows generally, or adult supervision for teens/children. Overall I am very satisfied.

Incredible Bow Incredible Value
I've been shooting compound bows for more decades than I care to admit. I bought this one on a whim and I am incredibly impressed. This is absolutely the first bow I've ever had that needed absolutely nothing on the string to quiet it down. When I'm shooting it in my CLOSED garage (it's winter) the only sound I hear is that of the arrow smacking the target. The draw cycle on it is great; it builds up pretty quickly right from the start and then just kind of slides back into a rock solid back wall. And the setup? Yeah, that took all of about 5 minutes. I will say I didn't care for the rest or the sight that's included but that's personal preference.

Sanlida X8
The bow was packaged very well and all pieces were there. I haven't had a chance to shoot it but for the dollar I don't think you could get a better deal. It appears to be well made, easy to adjust draw length and weight with the tool supplied. Looking forward to takin it out.

Solid Beginner Bow with Excellent Adjustability, but Some Quality Concerns
This is my first bow, and so far I’ve been enjoying it. I wanted to get into archery and eventually hunting for a long time, but after rotator cuff surgery, my shoulder has never been the same. Because of that, adjustability was a major factor in my decision. Expectations Before Purchase I was looking for a ready-to-hunt (RTH) bow that was easy to assemble and, most importantly, allowed me to adjust draw length and draw weight as my shoulder strength improves. I also wanted something beginner-friendly without needing to buy a lot of extra accessories. First Impressions Out of the box, everything was included, which was a big plus. The bow truly is RTH, and assembly was straightforward. The overall quality felt solid for the price. Real-World Experience One of the main reasons I chose the X8 was the ability to easily adjust draw length and weight, and it delivers on that. This has been especially important for me given my shoulder limitations. Despite seeing some negative reviews on Amazon, several trusted YouTube reviewers I follow had positive experiences, which ultimately convinced me to give this bow a chance. Challenges / Issues There are a few downsides worth mentioning: The instructions are not easy to follow, including the video on Sanlida’s website. Thankfully, YouTube tutorials helped a lot. The quick release became my biggest issue—it started freezing up after just a few days. The arrows feel inexpensive, and the fletching arrived bent due to poor packaging. After roughly 30 shots, the strings began to fray, which was disappointing. How It Met My Needs Despite these issues, the bow itself does what I need it to do. The adjustability makes it beginner-friendly and forgiving for someone recovering from shoulder surgery, and that alone makes it worthwhile for me. Final Recommendation Overall, this is a good starter bow, especially for beginners or anyone who needs flexibility in draw weight due to injury or strength limitations. Be prepared to rely on YouTube for setup help, and you may want to upgrade some accessories early on. To the team at Sanlida — I’m open to reviewing future products and would be happy to provide feedback.

I received my Sanlida Dragon X 8 compound bow kit in June of 2003 and while I was immediately impressed with the bow and accessories I decided to wait until I got to experience it's performance before writing a review. It's now 6 months later and after hundreds of arrows down range I can honestly say I have no regrets, in fact, the club members I often shoot with ( all have way more experience and skill than I possess ) tried the bow and ranked it's performance comparable to their high end expensive bows. I am so impressed with the Sanlida product that I am seriously considering the purchase of their Royal X8 recurve @ 55# and try my hand at traditional archery

The bow itself is really powerful and sturdy. The arrows and the arrow rest is really poor quality. After shooting three arrows agains a wooden target they all lost their tip while pulling them out. Once again, the bow is great, the arrows are toys. I would suggest buying the bow without the set accessories.

bastante buen arco y en especial muy barato para lo que es, con el tiempo es mejor ir cambiando los accesorios por unos mejores, pero para empezar no está nada mal.
