It I am adding a pair of read speakers to my A5+ & Sub, should I go with this and an N22, or just A2s? Sorry, I'm a bit new at this.

Hi James,Can you provide me with a little more information on your speaker set-up objective? If you already have a set of A5+ speakers and a subwoofer you have a pretty sweet 2.1 powered system. Two A5+ speakers, a sub and two P4 Passive speakers with a N22 creating a 5.1 system would blow the doors off. Space may or not be an issue for you, but I would go with the A2+s' and if if you're seeking overall better sound either through your speakers or headphones, add a D1 DAC. The sound differential with the DAC (running through a usb) as opposed to the internal sound card is significantly better. Not sure if this helps. If you want to drop me a note relative to your overall objective (music preferences, gaming, room size, etc.) I will respond. My initial reaction in that A2+ would be more than sufficient, give you everything you need and not consume as much space. Again, think hard about adding the DAC from Audioengine.

What wall mounts should i used for these audioengine p4 speakers?

According to the P4 Setup Guide the "AP4 speakers include two standard 3/8" threaded inserts on the rear panel and another identical insert on the bottom of each AP4 cabinet for attaching a speaker mount or bracket. We recommend using products by companies such as OmniMount or Sanus. Before installing the mounts or brackets make sure you consult all documentation and carefully follow the installation instructions."

Do these speakers not have a grill or cover?

No, they do not have a grill. This improves sound. The woofers are made of kevlar, so they are quite sturdy and do not need grills for protection from accidentally being perforated when handling as do traditional paper cone speakers. That said, all speakers should be handled with care.

Unfortunately they would not as there are no line-level outputs built into that device. The A2+'s have a built in amplifier that powers the 2 speakers so sending an amplified signal to the speakers could damage them. If you can find a similar device with line level outputs (either RCA outputs or a 3.5mm aux output) then that should work with our speakers.
