I’ve had the first version of this for years and decided it was time to get a new one. If you need something that will help you breathe correctly while you run or just life in general, will help your stamina last longer, easy to clean and change out valves, then this is the mask for you! I would highly recommend getting the Velcro strap because the way that the mask straps sit on the back of your head, the part that goes around your ears tend to slip and fall. The Velcro strap will help hold it up. Good thing the strap and extra valves come with this one.

The fit of the face piece is great. Great closure to keep air flow through the filters, but the head strap sits on the downward curve of the back of my head, and seeing as there’s nothing to keep it there, it slips. It pulls my ears down, and the entire face piece pulls down on my face making it extremely uncomfortable. This is all me just trying it on. I can’t imagine how it would feel while boxing or running or lifting. If the strap was put at an upward angle instead of downward/straight across angle, it would be a great product. But I have been messing with this thing for 30 minutes trying to make it work because I was so excited for it and I can not get it to sit on my head properly. Im 130lbs, and ordered a small.

This mask is great for training my lungs! I use it for biking and deadlifts to force me to take in full breaths. The only issues I’ve had is the mask slide up above my nose bridge. Also my face is too skinny for a proper suction which allows airflow from the sides. For most people this shouldn’t be a problem.

I play a high endurance competitive sport, women's roller derby, and decided to buy this to increase my lung capacity and breath work. I use it around the house rather than when working out. It has made me conscientious of the fact that I don't take deep enough breaths and I don't breathe often enough, I hold my breath a lot and take very shallow breaths. So, this mask has helped me breath deeper and more. That within itself has improved my performance. Conditioning my body to take deep breaths has allowed me to control my breath work while playing my sport.
