NVX XBAF68 2 Piece Universal 6" x8” and 5"x7" Silicone Rubber Speaker Baffles with Self Adhesive Foam Base Pad

Absolute gamechanger. Car doors are not waterproof and these are a must have imo, unless you want to buy new speakers every 3 years because the old ones deteriorated. Life rule= if you don't buy nice speakers, don't buy them at all, If you don't give them enough power, same thing. If you don't address the extra sound waves bouncing around, then don't complain about the rattle. Build it right the 1st time! I have a pair of AudioControl 6x9 PNW sitting in these bad boys (front), Skar 6.5 coax in the (rear). They absolutely help with directional sound, rattling, and protecting the wire connection, and prevent deterioration. They seemed like they would not fit at 1st, then realized they are just snug. A good amount of snug too. I prefer the open back so I can address rear waves with sound deadening/more foam. Word to the wise, these are not miracle workers for buzzing doors. If you take good sound even halfway serious, take the time to fully sound deaden all doors, use felt tape on connection pieces, use the NVX foam tape for the rim of the speaker, and I put additional foam in between my door panel and this speaker baffle. Long story short, I follow the car audio fabrication plan and it will change your life. It 100% changed my life. I love driving now. people with crazy systems have been in my car and they get confused. "How does it sound so clear?" Its simple. Buy good speakers, address all the sound waves bouncing around in the car, good power, good crossovers or dsp. Go 3-way or 4-way. For my next build I'm doing a mid tier slash budget build on the wife's car for her (I mean, for when we switch cars). This was the 2nd thing I bought even before i bought speakers. Now I'm going to buy the nvx foam for edge of the speakers. Then, main hardware. That should tell you something. I was skeptical at the beginning about NVX. The name isn't as well known. Well, I can tell you now, that I wouldn't hesitate in buying NVX, given that the specs of said items meet my needs. They are definitely building some solid products if you know what to look for. Yes, they make a range of products, but so doesn't every manufacturer now-a-days. I mean, we even see Audiocontrol getting bought up by Stinger. Do your research. Know the numbers. Spend less where you can so you can spend more where you want! Cheers!

Loud and clear. Reduced rattles, sounds focused great value for the money. The was no distortion in the sound the size and foot was perfect. And it's water proof as an added bonus. I didn't know what to expect but it made my day, my month. Its clear how much of a difference these made. Prior to buying these i was disappointed without having these my radio sounded terrible.... now it sounds awesome can't wait to put the rear speakers with the same setup

Excellent product, easy to install and adustable for different depths on both ends and you can even have one side or the other folded on the face so it lines up with door panels that are crooked/don't line up directly with the door. Use these in additon to other sound deadening methods and it's a huge difference in sound quality IF your car doesn't already have good sound deadening and gaskets around the speaker. Don't listen to the fools who installed them wrong somehow, it won't cause any issues or distortion to your speakers UNLIKE the one piece foam ones - which I cut a hole in because your speakers are designed to breathe freely -- MIKE THE ADHESIVE FOAM DOESN'T GO ON THE SILICONE INSERT lol its supposed to go on the sheet metal of your door across from the rear outlet ... and the only reason it would make your speakers sound like it was coming thru a tin can is because you smashed the outer gasket into your speaker's cone/surround when installing your door skin. Correctly used these are nothing but great in every way!!

This is a review for my 23 Tundra TRD. So, these do not install as advertised. They don't surround the speaker and encapsulate them like it advertises. They do not "cup" the speaker and reach to the door. I was very close to returning these. I looked at how they sat on the speaker and was pretty upset at first that they didnt do what they said. BUT, I was able to surround the speaker with the product and sit them in the speaker cut out in my door. So.... although they dont surround the speaker they will fit and I DID notice a pretty substantial difference in sound quality. And most of all the BUZZING and RATTLING in my door stopped. Which was ultimately my main worry and reasoning for purchasing this product. Overall im happy with them. Just didnt work like I planned for them to.

Great item for sealing your woofers to the backside of the doorpanel/doorcard. It improves the bass response, and lessen the chance for rattling. The foam pieces are designed to cancel out the resonance and standing waves behind the speaker. NVX is great.

A+++ I wish I had use these on my last system. Car doors leak like crazy and ruin expensive speakers fast. I got the 8 inch ones for my front doors and the 6 1/2 for my rear doors on my 2024 Denali Dually. They fit perfectly just remember to unfold the rubber on the back because they come folded in the box. And put the acoustic foam on the inside of the door directly behind the speaker. It will increase the sound quality and if you wanna go the extra mile use some sound deadening material. The last picture shows one unfolded and one like it comes in the box. don’t make the mistake. I saw one other reviewer make, and put them in folded. They will not protect the back of the speaker.

Required significant modification of my speaker adapters to fit with larger mid woofers but if you don't mind that they're great units. Very easy to install, they have a lip that helps them grab the lip of your speaker ring. Silicone feels pretty strong, definitely good enough to block water. The front rim pokes out more than far enough to couple to the door panel, helps with the sound that gets dispersed into the panel. Would hesitate to buy expecting a straight drop in if your mids have a larger basket but otherwise should work great.

I was not Shaw about these, but was I surprised with sound difference. These are easy to install and project the sound outwards, more than echoing inside the doors. I will be purchasing another pair for my rear doors

These silicone baffles are so good I'm surprised they are not something that comes with the car from the factory. Be aware that dependant on your plastic speaker bracket the silicone baffles holes may not align perfectly with your speaker screw holes. But it's silicone you can just put 2 new screw holes in it.

Installed these today because my door speakers did not sound as good as the rear speakers...Now the doors sound deeper and bassier than the rear speakers...I am impressed and will be ordering more for the rears soon!
