Item arrived in bubble wrap.. no box. With an item that is made of thin metal why would this be the normal packaging? As a result it was warped, which made it unstable. The rubber footing around the bottom was also damaged and due to the warping would not fit the item properly, leading it to shift while in use. Handle also pops off easily. Looks like it would be a decent product if it was actually packaged properly. Not worth £17. Refund requested

Certainly isn't worth £17 - made of thin bendy metal, not a good grater. Doesn't feel like it will last long...!

Very solid and steady product. It's more expensive than the ones you find in the mainstream shopa but it's worth it.

Damage

I wanted something that was simple and easy to take out of my cupboard and grate a small amount of items rather than take out my 14 cup Cuisinart. A small amount of cheese or vegetable something simple. Please don't get me wrong, I love my Cuisinart, but it's definitely a mess to clean up. I tried this grater for the first time, and it is definitely sturdy and does a great job of grating. The bottom rubber base is removable for cleaning. After grating some sharp cheddar cheese, (which is usually really hard to clean up out of a grater afterwards) I just rinsed it under hot water under the kitchen tap and it cleaned up beautifully. My Cuisinart definitely would not have cleaned up this easily. So if you're looking for something quick and simple to grate food items, I would recommend this grater. The only thing I don't know about at this point because it's brand new is how long it will last. But that's yet to be determined.

Love that this grater comes with a little nifty little plastic contiainer that slips right inside.. makes it easy to grate up some carrots, store the carrots and use for later... and when not in use and keep it all together in one unit... awesome

The product is not at all what's on the picture neither what was described. There is no rubber base or any black plastic or rubber anywhere on the product. It's just the normal metal shredder and nothing else. It's a lie to sell something cheap for more money. Shame on the seller. Shame on Amazon to allow this
