In my view this is the best combination for HUSQVARNA 550xp 18”.

Word of warning check the drive gulley on the bar where the chain fits into the bar. There seams to be some sort of epoxy resin in the bottom left over from the bonding of the laminated bar. It seems to be being lifted during use and humming up the front sprocket. If allowed to coolsets and sprocket will not turn unless drastic cleaning is done.

High quality! I do wish the bar had a oil hole tip of the bar. Chain cuts great.

Received this 18" combo yesterday and fitted it today onto my saw which had a 20" bar. It's a cheap Chinese made saw. The original chain used to stretch after a couple of cuts needing tensioning. With the bar and chain combo from Oregon I was able to spend most of the morning in the back yard before any tensioning was needed and the chain stayed sharp. Far better cutting ability than the original bar and chain. Although the original was a 20" there's only a two link difference and minimal shortening in usable bar length.
