Q: Can you use these along with alcohol to create a tie dye effect on fabric?

I don’t know but if you drink enough of it I’m sure it might look that way to you... 😉 Seriously, I have no idea. I tried to use them to mark clothes for a friend who was going into an assisted living and found them almost useless. I tossed them and went back to permanent markers.

Thanks for asking! We recommend using Fabric Markers on 100% cotton or polyester blend machine washable fabrics. Since we haven't tested them to be used on stretched canvas, we cannot guarantee results. If you'd like to try it for yourself, we'd suggest testing a small, inconspicuous area. Hope this helps! 🌈

Q: Does this set come with brown?

Yes it does! We used these markers on a fabric autograph bear for my dad, prior to his knee-replacement surgery. After everyone signed/decorated the fabric bear, we dried it in the dryer to "set" the marker colors. I don't believe my mother has ever washed the bear, so I do not know if the colors would fade and/or bleed when washed. I can say the colors did not run on the fabric as we were decorating it. They were vibrant, and produced a lovely keepsake. I hope this helps!

Q: If I use a light color on soft black socks, will it be visible? Can the color bleed? And will it last after several machine washings?

Not sure if you would really see it. The color does bleed and does last for a very long time. As long as you iron after to make permanent. My children made pillow cases for birthday gifts for their grandparents. They are washed once a week and are still bright and colorful
