Ladies and gentlemen, in the cacophonous realm of cosmetics, Mehron Makeup Paradise has emerged as an unassailable leader. Let's address the longevity. At a roller derby do, a cacophony of high-speed action, tightly packed bodies, and soaring temperatures, I put this product through its paces. Despite the humidity and the inevitable sweat, not once did I find myself with smudged or faded makeup. The color stayed as vibrant and well-defined at the end of the night as it was at the beginning. Application was a dream. Many products that promise long-lasting coverage often sacrifice ease of application, requiring professional skills to get it just right. The makeup glided smoothly over the skin, providing excellent coverage in a single swipe. There was no need for reapplication or touch-ups, which is often a tedious necessity with lesser brands. One of the most significant marks of a high-quality makeup product is the finish. Cheap products often betray their inferiority by caking or clumping. This formula offers a smooth finish that looks as good up close as it does from a distance. Whether you're across the roller derby rink or taking a selfie, the makeup retains its impeccable appearance. Another feature that cannot go unmentioned is the ease of removal. A makeup that stays on well but requires an industrial solvent to remove can be a deal-breaker. Luckily it excels in this regard as well. Despite its durable formula, the makeup came off effortlessly with cleanser, negating the need for any harsh scrubbing that could irritate the skin. It truly astounded me with its performance. From its superb longevity to its simple application and removal, this product ticks all the boxes for what one would want in a high-endurance makeup. Paint worked wonderfully. I’m an amateur & never even wear foundation lol, this stuff was easy enough to work with & looked awesome in pictures & in person, I got compliments all night... got this for Halloween (to be an Alien Hippie), one compact was enough to cover a good majority of my body and have plenty left. I’m sure I could do the look at least once more, maybe even another 2 times with what remains.... I used cheap makeup sponges on my face but it would’ve taken way too long to do my body... 2 of my daughters used paint brushes to help do my arms & back. Application with cheap paint brushes was a little streaky, but once dry it looked great. I have a full sleeve on my right arm, and while I didn’t intend to “cover” my tattoos, the paint did just that. Any splotchiness on that arm was really just a little of my tattoos coming out. I rushed through 2 coats of body paint, I’m sure if we would’ve taken the time to do a light 3rd layer the tattoos would be covered perfectly. I also used the mehron barrier spray in between coats and after the final coat. Let dry completely between applications!! I also did an extra coat (3rd spray total) at the end. That stuff is AMAZING!!! Even the paint on my hands held up through 5 hours of party & looked great. I held cold drinks with condensation, an icy water bottle, picked up babies (rubbing all over my tummy/arms/chest), hugged people... I even cut a lemon at one point with no transfer!! By the end of the night my finger tips were lighter than the rest of my hands but that’s it (you can see in my selfie, that was at the end of the night right before the shower). Very minimal transfer to the inside of my clothing & it came out in one wash. When I showered & just stood under the hot water for a couple minutes, the paint got lighter but didn’t disappear. I was impressed lol ... took a soft loofa sponge & dr bronners soap, paint came right off. No staining of my skin, no break outs, no dryness. LOVE the mehron product line & would definitely order again & again!!! (I originally ordered amazon green but when it arrived it was definitely a darker witch-y green, so I returned & bought the Light Green, seen here in photos. Glad I made the switch.)

This stuff was incredible. You can get a lighter or darker coverage depending on how much water you add and how many coats you use. You can absolutely get a better, less patchy look than mine if you do a couple coats. I used round and flat foundation brush and found that it was much easier than a beauty blender. I painted almost my entire body and there is still plenty left. Fortunately, it comes off very easily with water and soap. Also unfortunately, it comes off very easily when in contact with any liquid. I wore my costume out to a few bars for Halloween and had to be very careful when drinking, because if I got anything on my face it would take the paint right off. But by being very careful not to get anything on me, the paint lasted all night! And, when I got home, all it took was a shower and the tiniest bit of scrubbing for everything to come right off. I used a NYX setting spray on my face and body, but sat on a towel in cars/on upholstered chairs because although it didn't look like paint was being rubbed off from my legs to the chairs, I was definitely leaving some color behind. I'm only giving four stars because of how easily water takes it off. This would be a perfect product though if that's not an issue for you!

I purchased the Light Blue (main color) and Metallic Blue shades. I ended up not using the Metallic Blue, but the Light Blue was absolutely perfect for my retro alien look for Halloween ‘25. This brand is the only one I use every year, and I honestly turn my nose up at anything else. I applied it with minimal water using a foundation brush, letting each layer dry before adding another (a minute or so?) I experienced no irritation, no blemishes, no itching, and no fading. The best part is that it has zero transfer once set with a light dusting of translucent powder. I skipped the Mehron setting spray since I didn’t want to risk damaging the finished look. I was able to contour and highlight using eyeshadow right on top of the paint with no issues. For full coverage, I did about six layers, but you may not need that many depending on your desired finish. Also tested it on a male with facial hair, and it performed perfectly with no flaking over the beard. This is hands down the only body paint I recommend or use. It is reliable, comfortable, and flawless every single time. 👽💙

I used this for my Connie from Big Mouth Halloween costume and it worked shockingly well For being water based it lasted really well and felt super comfortable on the skin, not thick at all it set really well I painted a lot of my body with a wet beauty blender and it’s pretty pigmented for my skin tone, and I put other makeup on top of it that also performed well It worked so well that it makes me wanna paint myself more colors, I had a super fun time with it

I knew Mehron would not disappoint! This is not your kindergarten water color paint. I set the top, let it sit for a minute, and it was so easy to apply! Touchable when dry, no setting powder or spray needed. It was easier to do with the black light on, otherwise, Dark Matter is invisible to a point. Amazing effect, received a lot of compliments from customers at the haunted trail. The second pic is the neon yellow to green shade.

I can't stop raving about how good this product is. It is not greasy and doesn't come off at all. It doesn't come off on your clothes or to the touch. Not only that, everyone else with body makeup showed signs of it coming off by the end of the night ...except me! It's so easy to put it on and looks fabulous! And then unbelievably, removing it is easy too! It came off in the shower with soap and water. Very high quality product!
