Cost effective and reduces waste when compared to buying packs of pre cooks rice. Great taste and texture and although its takes a bit of time to cook it’s worth it for a healthy meal Quality wise my only gripe is that it does seem to need quite a good wash to prevent that gray foam from appearing when cooking.

This brand of rice is excellent, have purchased a number of times. 😁👍 Like that the packet is paper and not plastic. Easy to clean and cook. Makes a delicious dinner. Definitely value for money and i highly recommend 😁👍

Great quality, great price, no complaints.

I normally go for Basmati when buying organic wholegrain rice, but thought I'd try the long grain variety for no other reason than that it's cheaper. It tastes pretty much the same but the texture is a little more chewy and less soft. Not a major difference, especially once it's under a heap of chilli or curry. The cooking instructions recommend boiling for 40-45 mins, but for me 30 mins is plenty (Basmati is about 25, so not a big difference). I did try the recommended duration the first time but the rice came out a bit mushy. Oh, and unlike for one or two unhappy reviewers, mine didn't come with any bonus insects. Will probably buy again.

Excellent test, easy to prepare. Most of all it’s organic and harmful pesticides weren’t used.

Good quality organic brown rice, with a pleasant nutty flavour. I would recommend washing thoroughly before use and ideally soaking before hand and discarding the water, because brown rice can have quite high amounts of arsenic from the soil it is grown in. Alternatively you can change the water half way through cooking, which is also very effective.

The quantity is reasonable for the price, but the taste is disappointing and has a mould-like flavour. I also question how organic it is, as the water turned dark when boiling while the rice remained very white. It raises concerns about possible artificial colouring.
