Pros: almost no calories, sugar, no dyes, uses stevia, no aftertaste or bad stevia side effects like other brands Cons: not enough caffeine and expensive. I prefer cold caffeinated drinks in the morning. I was using crystal light pure energy which uses stevia but it had wayy too much real sugar and calories/sugar/carbs ruining it, and Nuun does not effect my fasting. On bad days I would drink regular crystal light energy but that uses aspartame, dye, and artificial vitamins. I’ve tried other stevia drinks with caffeine that were horrible. Like Stur, gave me horrible migraines and tasted awful. That’s probably the cause of the stevia not being refined. This is very light tasting, not overly sweet. Problem is not enough caffeine. I sometimes use two tablets in my morning drink and that gets very expensive for a daily user. Please make one with more caffeine. I doubt people are actually using this for sport but for their morning drinks.

I tried this out originally because they seemed like interesting alternative to wasting plastic on sports drinks, especially to a multi-sport person like me, who goes through 5 or 6 Gatorade's a week. Little did I know how amazing these tablets really are. After a week of having half a tablet a day (I know, I'm super stingy), before workouts , I noticed the immediate effects, more energy, less cramps/stiffness, etc. But after two weeks I began to notice a positive long-term effect of the tablets, they significantly reduced my acne! (Yep, I'm a disgusting teenager). Now I thought, "must just be a change in hormones or something", but I was wrong. After running out of the tablets (I only bought one tube) my acne slowly but surely returned, less severe but still more noticeable... I'm not going to claim this to be a cure-all, and I might just be an isolated case, but I am surely going to continue to order these amazing tablets and recommend them to anyone skeptical of them to just try it once.

I found this was a very easy tool to have. If you at any time throughout the day feel dehydrated or you need a little pep, a little more energy, it's effective. Has a decent flavor, slightly strong, but if you put it in enough water obviously it dilutes it. I think the part that really sold me on it, is the ease of using it. I used to have to bring a Ziploc bag with my powder in it and a teaspoon. Half the time I wouldn't remember one or the other or the bag at all. So this is a very simple method and tastes decent. It can you give me a slight bit more energy and hydrate so you really can't go wrong with those two. So I bought a couple more flavors. Now I keep one in my purse.

I have a history of failing at personal hydration, especially when I am at an event in the heat. If I drink too much water, then I miss out on the fun because I am always looking/waiting for the bathroom. If I don't hydrate enough, I pass out or suffer other physical consequences. These sport tabs made a huge difference this summer. They helped keep the water in my body, and not going straight through me. I thought the "relax" tabs were too gritty, but the sport ones were tasty, easy to pop in may water bottle, and easy to share with others who might not recognize the importance of water retention.

I love Nuun Hydration tablets. I have both the Energy and the Electrolyte versions. I use the Energy one when I go out hiking very early instead of coffee. It keeps me hydrated and gives me the caffeine kick I need. I love having the electrolyte ones to add to my water later in the day. I like the taste and the fact that they don't have all the added sugar. I am glad I found them and will always have them in my pack.
