Ok for the budget, but be ready for the issues
The unit works, but it needs a bit of work. First, you must do a firmware update otherwise the menus are incomplete and the power is reduced. Even then, some engineering on it is so disappointing:-Every time you turn it on, you must enable sensor view in the menus. It wont save settings.-Most the time you turn it on, it wont pick up the video channel you use last time, so go in the menus and disable-enable video and scroll the channels till the video comes on.- At times the screen just goes white, you must reboot. If your plane is a mile away, good luck.- The audio output at the bottom has a headset symbol. It does not mean you can plug a headset and hear. You must buy an headset amplifier to get sound. Does the hand book tell you? No. Does tech support tell you? no.- tech support on the unit is useless. After I sent a question, a tec asked me what kind Video receiver I am using? He did not know that this has a built in screen and video receiver.But 250 is cheap for such a device, so take your chances. I would go with something better if I were to start again.
