After watching a video online many times about this easel, I knew I had to have one. Today it arrived. It was a bit fiddly to put together but once you had the parts around the right way and lined up the holes with the screws, it was straightforward. The main part of the easel is prebuilt. The wood and the whole easel are solidly made so in my mind value for money. I love it. The fact that the easel is multifunctional. i.e you can lie your canvas flat, which is what appealed to me. Also the size of the easel and the sizes of the canvases that can fit on it is just right if you only have a small art studio like me.

I love this easel, and it has the features I require. I will definitely order from Meeden again. However, when I received the package and opened the contents, the hardware was rusted on many pieces. Also, one of the free spin nuts and tighteners did not lock properly with the result that the angle of the easel kept changing as I was painting. I have been in touch with the company who have been very good at communicating with me regarding the rust issue as well as the nut locking part. Overall, I am very pleased with how the easel is holding up, even though I did not exchange the free spinning nuts or hardware (the company followed up promptly and sent me some replacement parts) as they were the incorrect parts and size. My husband glued one of the nuts in place, so it is holding the easel at the desired angle without any further issues. I can live with the rust issues, hoping it won’t get worse. All considered, the price is still great for the product.

Very disappointed in the very poor quality of this easel. Used twice but could not continue as frame supports so wobbly with flimsy hinges and the mast sliders for securing artwork totally useless - coming away from frame. All assembly instructions clear and were followed to the letter. I have returned it - if Medeen don’t refund me, I’ll be updating my review here and putting it on Trustpilot also. Several other reviewers have mentioned the same problems that I have had with this easel
