Outstanding they still make these
I didn't think I had much chance of finding this remote for a 25 year old Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan. My original old remote buttons were about to go. I had to press really, really hard to get the button to work. This is an exact replacement for the old one. This works perfect. Thank you for still making these.. Now I am going to another one for my bedroom which uses the same type of Remote.

Exact OEM Replacement
Remote restores full operational requirements to ALL of the buttons. In my case, the light wouldn’t dim. New remote solved that but it also made ALL of the other functions work better with simply no pressure touch of the buttons. You won’t realize how bad your old remote was until you replace it. Just pull the plastic shipping strip off the new remote and it is ready for use. No programing required.

I bought this thinking that I would have to figure out a bunch of different things to make it work with my Hampton bay ceiling fan. I was wrong. It worked immediately and without any nonsense. These folks are the best!

Not a match
Good remote but not a match for our Hampton bay fan. Wish they did a better job with listing which fans are compatible.

Works With Hampton Bay
It works to turn lights on and off and to dim, but the dim up light and seperate down light feature is a gimmick to me on my hampton light/fan, it functions just like the original one dim button remote that is only dimming in one direction at a time (it goes up to peak brightness then dims back down to low then cycles back to peak, so you have to cycle through as usual to get the light at the right brightness if you blew past it. Even though the down/up seperate buttons is the one feature that doesn't function with my fan and was the reason I got this in the first place, I'd still get this over the original since it has a color to some of the buttons.
