Nice skin...FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!
2 parts to this review....The protector itself and then the company...The protector - full disclosure, I hate putting these things on. If I buy a phone in the store I'll pay the ridiculous price for the in store screen protectors just so I can have the sales person put them on for me. This time I pre-ordered my Galaxy S7 Edge online so didn't have that option. I hadn't used a Skinomi product before but found it on Amazon. There wasn't too many options at the time since the phone wasn't even out yet. I ended up getting two of these (see story below) but I'll just talk about the second one. For these protectors you use a liquid to help you put it on. It is a little messy but on the other hand makes it easy to line up since you can slide it around on the phone when applying it. Fair warning!! Watch their online video on how to install it! And believe them when they say give it a few days to see the final results. I was actually not pleased at all the first day, I had a couple of bubbles that appeared to be because of dust or some kind of contaminat under the skin and some smudges where my fingers touched the underside surface of the skin during installation. I was bummed. However, just like they said, all of this dissappeared in about 2 days....not sure how or why (maybe the skin is permeable to gas???) but now there is no signs of either blemish. I was also a little worried about the edge screen. I felt like I was having a hard time geting the protector to wrap and attach to the edge. I think while it is wet, it tends to pop up, but a little patience it stuck and has shown no signs of coming loose so far. Very smooth surface now, a little soft but not sticky after a few days use. Extremely clear and doesn't take away from the gorgeous screen on the phone. Once again, wait a few days before judging. The company - Like I said I pre-ordered the phone. Actually got the skin before the phone. When the phone arrived I tried to install the skin and really struggled. Even though I could move the skin around while wet, it just never fit right from top to bottom and it actually seemed a little too wide also. When I tried to get one side to wrap around the edge screen correctly the other would actually overlap the screen and touch the phone making it impossible to get both sides to attach at the same time. I took it off and set it aside to call Skinomi for a refund or replacement. However, BEFORE I could get to it, I got an email from Skinomi saying that they weren't satisfied with the fit of the protector once the phone actually came out and they were shipping me a new one. Excellent....a company that realized a problem and proactively fixed it. I'm a fan now.

This screen protector is very useful, with the benefit of being a more flexible ...
To start, I received Galaxy S7 Edge Screen Protector . This screen protector is very useful, with the benefit of being a more flexible one in comparison to a plastic one. One of the benefits of a liquid-applied screen protector is that if you mess it up putting it on, you can immediately take it off and try again, without too much of an hassle. Along with that, bubbles can easily be flattened out if you use the Squeegee to push out all the bubbles in the screen protector. One downside with a liquid-applied screen protector is that you have to wait for it to dry to have the best effect, so you might have to be a bit careful with your phone for an hour or two after you put it on, but this won't restrict you from using your phone during that time frame. The screen protector itself is very durable, and can easily take a hit or two. With all of this, and a lifetime warranty to back it up in case anything happens this is a pretty good deal. Overall, a great product and very convenient.

and absolutely love the result so far
I just applied this screen protector to my new Galaxy S7 Edge, and absolutely love the result so far. This was the first wet-application screen protector that I have put on, so I was nervous spraying all of that liquid onto my phone. I watched the online tutorial video, which was very helpful and reassuring, and felt confident that I could do it myself. 20 minutes after the application, the sides started to come up a bit, so i just pushed them back down, and they seem to be sticking just fine.As a note on the application of the screen protector, I recommend completely dousing the protector in the liquid. The phone is very water resistant and can handle this, and it makes it much easier to apply the protector nicely. I too had to use a blow dryer to help the edges stick, but I used it to alternate between low warm air and low cool air to help the stickiness of the protector and then to help set the protector where I wanted it to go. I had a leftover squeegee from a different company that I used to squeeze out the excess liquid, so I used that, but I definitely wish that Skinomi had one that came with their products. Another tip, wrap the anti-lint cloth around what ever you are using to help squeegee out the excess water so that the cloth will absorb the excess liquid before it can go into any holes or ports on your phone.I had first received the screen protector when the phone first came out and had difficulty with the fit of the screen protector to my phone, however, the company promptly sent out an email that they were sending new protectors to everyone who had purchased the product due to faulty fits. I am very pleased with the application and the look of the screen protector, and hope to update this review after the screen protector has been on for a bit.

Protects and does it's job but not a great smooth feel.
I've had this screen protector on since April 2016 so a few months of use. I'm not completely happy with it because it has a rubbery tacky feel so my fingers do not smoothly glide and it has developed the very bad orange peel effect starts to develop quickly from bumps and usage (see screenshots). I wanted to share this about these type of screen protectors. I'm in the process of looking for another screen protector and it's hard to find honest reviews if other have the same tacky feel and orange peel. It's not all bad though. It was super easy for me to put on by following the instructions, let dry, and using a blow dryer on the curved areas. The protector stayed in place great with no bubbles. I hope this helps others as they are searching for a good screen projector for the S7 Edge. Since there are zero true good tempered glass protectors, I do believe these wet type are the best option, I just can't stand the orange peel effect. Every time I show something no my screen, everyone ask me what the heck is wrong with my screen.
