Ribcap Fox Medical Grade Protective Helmet | Black | Soft Hat for Epilepsy | Protective Cap for Seizures

This is a great product. I mainly use it when skating outdoors. Offers some protection (not heavily tested, but it did help me once) and is very comfortable. Much better than the model I had before, with cotton on the inside. This one is warm, yet stays dry. Best hat I have ever had for winter outdoor activities.

Please note what the tag inside the Ribcap Fox Medical Grade Protective Helmet says: "Ribcap is not a helmet and offers protection against minimal risks" (see photo). That contradicts their website where it refers to their product as a protective "helmet". From their website: "We offer soft helmets for adults, epilepsy helmets, seizure helmets and head protection for kids. Our certified helmets offer you a beautiful independence." The photos of the Ribcap Fox helmet make it look like protection is provided over the ears and around the back of the head; that is merely a flap of fabric that offers no protection for the sides of the head or the lower part of the head. The actual protection is only in the cap part of the helmet. The bill of the cap is also soft. I purchased this product for my brother who has unpredictable seizures (despite medication) that cause him to fall to the ground. I don't have confidence that this product will provide adequate protection to all parts of the head in the event of a fall.

Kappe an sich sitzt gut, jedoch leider stört der "Kinnriemen" am Hals beim längeren Tragen. Dieser müsste etwa eine Riemenbeite weiter vorne sein, dadurch würde die Kappe auch nicht eher nach hinten rutschen, was aktuell der Fall ist.
