Brilliant way to store sets of pencils, pens, crayons and so on. The drawers are the perfect size, pull in and out smoothly and easily and the cabinets look good as well. They interlock when stacked and so do not slide around as some rivals do. A great addition to any art studio or simple drawing desk.

Fantastic storage, lovely wood, looks fantastic and works really well. Drawers slide beautifully and come completely out which is a huge bonus as you can bring the whole tray out when needed. I have gotten a second and will get more when needed, highly recommend.

I have a large collection of art supplies and I began to find it a bit of a nuisance with various types of pencil and pens in various tins and boxes in which they are supplied. Using this wooden box of drawers (actually, I bought two and stacked them - told you I have a lot of pencils! - I could dip in and out of the drawers, taking exactly what I need, finding them all in one place, no messing around with tins and boxes... Well, you get my drift. The wooden storage box is beautifully made. Nothing cheap about it. The drawers glide easily and there is a lot of room for a lot of pencils. You can even use the drawers for things like tubes of paint. The drawers, as you can see in the image, are not terribly deep so you need to be aware of that if you have ideas of storing larger items in them.

The drawers are great if you have a lot of materials. You can take each drawer out which is an advantage when working away from the desk. Easy to slide in and out and they look good too. I did get a splinter as soon as I lifted the drawer unit out of the delivery box which wasn’t a good start. They do their job but are not high craftsmanship and some buyers may want to finely sand parts and possibly use a wood wax to finish it off. I found that the bottom drawer was very stiff to open but some wax polish along the sides helped to fix this. The wooden panel on the top of the box is thin so you don’t want to put anything too heavy on it (unless you are putting the weight in the front and back strips of wood on top. All in all it is great to have but you may want to make a few amendments.

After reading the negative reviews I was a bit nervous about wonky drawers and poor quality. I needn’t have worried. These drawers are well made and I’m really pleased with them. They hold so much I’ve never felt so organised. Lovely set of drawers. I’m debating a second set. Lovely quality and came ready assembled and good to go.

I wasn’t sure when I bought this with some bad reviews and some good, I’m so happy I bought it. It holds 440 pencils or will hold 3 pan pastels 3 in each section 12 in a draw and 4 pencils or blenders. I’m really happy as it’s now well organised and looks nice in my lounge and no one would know it’s my art pencils as I don’t have an art room or anywere to put them that is tidy and well stored. Very happy I’ve just ordered another one for my unison pastels. Cost probably a little high but still worth it for the nice look you get and the organisation. I’m not disappointed at all. Hope this helps anyone else looking.
