Adorable and fun
I found this adorable and fun. I'll start by saying I've been throwing for 10+years and have a kick wheel and full size electric wheel, but this was a fun challenge and I really enjoy throwing tiny little vases on it. I sat it in a bowl while using to simulate a splash pan and used some better tools but found it very nice, easy to use and clean. It's not meant to do any significant throwing and you hardly use any water which seemed to be most of the negative reviews. I really enjoy it

Works well for sanding dice, no idea how you would make pottery
I bought this for sanding resin dice. It works pretty well for that. I wish it had a little bit more torque but it's usable. I have literally no idea how anyone would successfully throw pottery on this and would never recommend it for that.

Using for sanding
After finding a comment on Reddit that suggested to use a small pottery wheel for dice sanding, I got this and it's perfect! Motor is relatively quiet and it gets pretty high speeds--it does tend to slow down (understandably, as it is so small) if you press hard, but for my purposes that isn't an issue. Attached a pocket mirror to the wheel to make an 100% smooth surface, and now sanding and polishing small objects is a breeze.

It’s as bad as you expect
The motor is not strong enough to do anything. As soon as you start trying to work the clay, it vibrates itself all over the place. I tried holding it between my legs and got one pot centered but the resistance slowed the wheel too much to finish a project. I figured it was a long shot but I’m still disappointed.

LOVE my Mini Wheel
I work with miniatures and recently took a class on "throwing" on the mini wheel. I am really glad I had the class first as I keep the spin setting on pretty low compared what how fast it can spin. Works great and cleans up easily......I have not used the tools yet but am looking forward to figuring out what each one can do!

Very cute
Purchased for my sister for Christmas. It’s very compact and each to use. Family having a blast taking turns making miniature pottery. Great price.
