Worked great for me, extended the range of my DJI Mini 4k by a mile
I just got a DJI Mini 4k for Christmas, and was able to fly it out about a mile from my house. I bought these things and put them on the remote today, and I can say, I was able to fly about another mile further, so they worked for my drone at least. They simply snap on to the remote easily.

Worked on skyrover s1
I bought it to see if it worked with my skyrover s1 and it clips right on the controller perfect and I wasn't sure about if it would be work good bad or unnoticeable but I flew it out untill the signal wouldn't return to full by just increasing my altitude and then clipped it on and it jumped right back up to full bars so as of flight #1 it's got a passing grade I couldn't find any info on whether anyone else had used them on the s1 and seems like 50/50 of people saying they do or don't work. It did in my case that's all I care about

Extends my distance for sure…
It more than most definitely extends my distance. I took it a step further by adding a parabolic reflector that’s for a different drone that I have. So now it’s got the complete yagi-uda setup and anyone who thinks this doesn’t help is doing something wrong. It’s not a miracle worker but you will definitely get 2000 to 5000 feet further out, especially with the way I have it set up, check my picture. One more thing, you need to change the transmission settings to manual and make sure you’re on the 5.8 ghz in the settings of the go fly app for this antenna to give you the most distance. If you leave it on auto when the drone automatically switches to 2.4 ghz due to interference this won’t be helping you at all, and the signal will suddenly drop out. So with manual and 5.8 selected it’ll never drop off. I’ve gotten out to 15k feet with my mini 3 before I chickened out and turned around, due to the battery tripping me out, not because the signal was low, and yes, of course it was with a spotter, blah blah blah. The spotter was my golden retriever, but he’s really smart you guys.

WASTE OF MONEY
Like others I bought this thinking it would actually extend the signal on my DJI Mini 2 thus giving me 30 to 50% greater range. WRONG! Upon testing my signal strength with and without I determined this gadget is only for looks. I was already skeptical about it because there's no wires or power connection, it just simply snap onto the RC controller's antennae. I flew the drone out to it's max distance at about 200' until I had only 2 bars. Then I tuned the drone around and bought it back. Shut everything down and then attached the "extender" and took the drone back up. Got the same exact results with the "extender" as I did without. So I bought it back in and this time took the "extender" off, flew the drone out to the point where I had only two bars, snapped the "extender" on and WALA!!! NOT A SINGLE ADDED BAR. Same damn signal strength. Even when I did all this on the roof of the house I still got the same results. So if you're looking to just add some cosmetics then this will do that but as far as improving range or signal strength....not going to happen. Also, When I had the drone out at the distance where the signal dropped, I snapped the "extender" on and I swear the signal got worst! I didn't wait around to try and remove the "extender", I just brought the drone back to me first then removed it.

"Works"
To the point: at range, expect maybe 1 extra bar of signal as long as you point it at the craft. If that's worth it to you, go for it.

Really works bought 4. At least 30% to 50% better dji 4k mini
This thing really works. Especially for the price its a no Brainerd. I bought 4. Atleast 30% better in normal area and open land or water closer to 50%. I dont give great reviews often but this is a 10 out of 10 no joke dji mini 4k and dji neo. Both controllers different frequencies both same results with antenna.

I have no proof that it works but it's pretty cool looking
I really can't tell you if it works, I hope it works. It looks like it should work. It's easy to install and I can't say that I've seen any extended range but therefore in my case I don't fly it miles away from my house. Buy one and give it a try yourself and then let me know but I think you should buy one or two, even buy one few in-laws they would really appreciate that even if they don't have a drone
