These Pathway Lights are the BEST - Last the Longest.
I purchased these Balhvit Glass Solar Lights in July 2022 and they lasted until April 2025. That's almost 3 years. These glass pathway lights were brighter and looked better. They worked better, were easy to assemble, lasted longer without needing any battery changes. The only thing that stopped them from working was the hard water that covered the tops. (I'm writing this after purchasing another brand. All ten of the other brand were plastic and all ten have now needed new batteries within 4 to 6 months.) I will be purchasing these again when I need new solar pathway lights. They are the brightest, look the best and last the longest.

Quality Product, Great Performance, Simple to Install
The Balhvit Glass Solar Lights Outdoor, 8 Pack is a really great choice if you are looking for a durable, beautiful, and affordable way to light areas of your property. The best part is that the design is simple and intuitive. Once you have them in the right place you don't ever have to think about them again. They will dutifully turn on when the sun sets and recharge themselves automatically. We live on a lake and have a long winding cart path down to our dock. Installing wired low voltage lights would have been a huge hassle and the distance would have required multiple transformers to even make it work. These lights were a far better alternative and provide more than enough light for our application. They couldn't be easier to install. I recommend using a piece of rebar to create the hole to get through hard earth, gravel and or around roots. Then just remove the film covering the solar panel, turn on the switch, push in the spiked rod and insert the lamp on top. Total time about 3minutes/light! The finish looks really nice and the glass lenses are far better than many of the multipacks you find at the big box home improvement stores. I've only had them a short time but highly recommend and plan to order more!

Love the impact and ease, on/by themselves 2 of 16 don't work
It's true they're not bright if you were trying to light an area, and 2 of 1 set dont work... but of the ones that did work, for anyone hoping to add some beautiful decor, and/or highlight a walkway or steps , they're WONDERFUL and really add some instant beauty to a previous unlit area. I was really sad 2 didn't work, and almost tried buying/replacing the rechargeable batteries, but didn't want to spend to fix a brand new item without even knowing if that was the problem. That being said, I bought a set for myself to check them out, as a bit worried I wouldn't like the pattern vs a regular light, but they're nicer than photos can pick up at night, and EVERYONE loved the difference they make. So I bought ANOTHER set as an anniversary present for my grandparents to come home to their 1st dinner out since covid on their 72nd anniversary!) I charged them during the day at my house, and snuck them in at their house while they were at dinner. They LOVED them, but was funny they called me 2 nights in a row asking how to turn them off before they went to bed, and I had to get them used to understanding they not only don't use electricity, but they come on all by themselves, turn off all by themselves, AND create their own electricity, so just enjoy the lights and never touch them until maybe you need to change the rechargeable batteries (regular AA rechargeables) every once in awhile. If you want a larger light span, make them taller (that's what I did to a few) and if you need to light an area where they don't get enough sun because they're too low to get sun exposure, make them taller. I bought a very easy to cut plastic pipe (it was about the size of a paint roller long handle) very easy to cut, and when I did them at my house I didn't have the saw, just used kitchen scissors to get a slight cut going where I wanted, and then snapped it across my knee. The plastic is better than wood to use in wet soil since it wont rot. I cut them to the size I needed and in one of my planting beds I had a zip zag pattern with 3 in the front and 2 in the back (the back getting less light from the plants covering them) so I raised the back 2 and they get great sun now. Take one of the lights without the steaks to your local hardware store, and there is a common size theater will just perfectly fit (orry I can't remember which and they're already cut and in the ground) so perfectly you have to work it a bit to get them into the light, but that's what you want, so they don't fall off. Keep in mind if you use a pipe, odds are high the bottom sharper steak meant to slide into the dirt won't fit into the bottom of the pipe, so a LITTLE harder to push the pipe straight into the ground by hand, so DONT push onto the lights. The instructions a clear to push the included steaks or whatever you rig in first, then add the lights. So I just grabbed whatever I had lying around, and tapped in the pipe and added the light after. BTW, buy the darkest pipe you can or they have a green garden steak in the garden section that would have worked great, and nice and dark green so it blends. I'm hoping the company makes up for the 2 not working.

Excellent and very solid path lights
These lights look nice and have been very durable over the course of the summer; they provide light all night long and feel solid. After about 3 months of use some of them have developed a powdery coating (some much worse than others; I think it's an interaction between water, sun and the clear material on top), but I was able to clean it up very well with some 3M Scotch-Brite and water as shown in the before and after images (took around 45-60 seconds). I've had this same problem on other brands of lights, though this is the first time I've bothered to try to do anything about it, since most of the others were leaking and falling apart after a season, unlike these -- so I'm unsure whether they respond any better or worse to this than other lights; but I'm still quite pleased with the results and the minimal effort required here. The bases/spikes (as well as the glass portion) feel MUCH more solid than the multitude of other brands of path lights I've had previously, and these seem like they will actually last for several seasons, which is great! Would definitely recommend these lights (as long as you're OK with the pattern, which is well-shown in the product images).

I was so pleased with these beautiful lights. Used them for a month and one has stopped working. Light stays on all day and the battery can't keep it alight at night. Guessing it's a faulty sensor. I am in the UK, bought through Amazon Global and can't figure out how to contact the company. Any help would be appreciated.
