Awesome for recording lead and rythm ideas. My only complaint is the dub over the main recording is not a separate track. It all records as one track. However, the track can transfer to PC or phone via USB. RC-5 has built in drum loops and metronome making. Overall a great addition to any practice rig for recording.

Perfect looper/sampler. I download WAV files into it and use the ‘one shot’ function to play clips in and before my songs. Great purchase

This is my first attempt at using a looper playing mostly acoustic and occasional electric guitars. Super clean sound. Totally NOT worth using with battery power for any meaningful length of time. I'm lucky to get 1 hour before the 'low battery" indicator kicks on. Having 99 memory storage locations was the main reason I purchased this over the RC-1. I can save any music track or sound file to one of the memory banks and cue it up as needed. This looper function itself is easy enough with the single foot switch on the box. You can easily add an external MIDI foot switch controller to customize things and get away from the single pedal, double stomp/ single stomp routine. If I get any good at looping, I'll probably upgrade to multi-track. For now, this was at a price point for me to experiment with a single track unit and see how it goes.

It is an amazing pedal, I use it to play some tracks and it works great. Light, strong the only thing I complain. it is how to order your tracks using the software. Good value for money

This is a great little looper that has really helped my practice and timing. Steep learning curve to work it out but there are a bunch of YouTube videos to help and you can find the manual online. There's nothing in the box to help you to get started. Using the fs 6 for pedal with it really helps. A few reviews on here complain about the backing track being too loud and potentially damaging equipment. It can be turned down. You just need to take the time to work out all of the settings. I'm an intermediate player just getting in to soloing and scales and this is a great tool to lay a backing track and jam over. I'm still working it out but I love it. Built like a brick shit house like all of the boss pedals. I use rechargeable 9v batteries to save on cords and having to buy the boss power supply

The device stopped powering onn in two weeks. The seller would not allow a replacement or repair.

Cant set the volume of the drum loop. It can break your amp.worst pedal ever.dont buy.
