Nice tiny switcher for audio components
I was hesitant buying this no-name splitter, as I have had bad experiences in the past with similarly cheap audio devices on Amazon. But this thing is doing its job, which is simply to route one of 3 stereo inputs to one stereo output. I am using it with two vintage cassette decks and an audiophile CD player and I can't hear any quality loss on my system after several A/B tests (I've got decent gear too including a Topping amp and Audioengine speakers). The splitter is passive, so there is no active signal from, for instance, a power supply or board capacitor, that would interfere with your analog signal. While it's certainly possible some of these units were made inconsistently, leading to the negative reviews, mine is fine, and it's also possible people are using low quality RCA cables or have inherently bad/defective RCA outs on their gear. Whatever the case may be, for the extremely low price, it's worth a purchase to see if it works in your audio system.

It works exactly as I hoped!
I needed some thing for my computer to be able to easily switch sound output between my earbuds and my surround speakers. The inputs for both of my devices are 3.5 mm jacks so this works perfect with my computer. I do wish that the enclosure were closed off, so that dust wouldn’t get into the circuitboard. However, the size is nice and fits right on top of my desk. It was very easy to install, and although I was expecting there to be noise and popping whenever I would switch the outputs with the dial, I’ve not experienced that so far. The only problem that I have experienced is that sometimes the output tends to fade if I press too hard on one of the 3.5 mm output jacks, almost as if it’s not soldered on perfectly. Considering the price of the product and how well it solves my problem, I still consider myself a happy customer, and I would buy it again.

Lovely Appearance, Performs its Job Well, May Need a Ground Loop Isolator
I picked up this handy little AUX Switch Box to tidy up my work from home / gaming desk setup and allow me to easily switch between my speakers, headphones, personal computer, and company laptop. The unit does exactly what I wanted it to do, but I did want to confirm that thanks to its simple design you will likely need to add a ground loop isolator ($4-8 ea) for each input beyond your first one. The 3.5mm jacks feel tight, and paired well with the random assortment of 3.5mm cables I've accumulated over the years. The selector knobs have reasonably positive detents, the aluminum knobs feel nice enough, and the overall package performs nicely. It even looks at home next to my inexpensive Bravo Audi headphone amp. My only real gripes are the lack of ground loop isolation on the inputs, and the layout of input and output jacks. It would have been a lot tidier if there were two inputs and two outputs on the front and back of the device to keep my back-of-desk arrangement nice and tidy, but I understand that it would have taken more work to get the PCB to layout nicely. Overall, I'm giving the switch box a 5/5 stars because it does its job, I was aware of the potential flaws with the ground loop isolation, and its affordable as all getout. I could have made something myself, but for this price, why bother? Pros: - Inexpensive - Allows easy switching between inputs AND outputs - Attractive, minimalist package Cons: - Some feedback if there are multiple grounded input devices - Input/Output jacks leave room for improvement Neutral: - You gotta install your own rubber feet Recommended Improvements: - Integrate a ground loop isolating transformer if space permits - Have 2 inputs and 2 outputs on the rear of the switch instead of 4 inputs on the rear, and 4 outputs on the front.

Get something else.
Works good for a while, then switches start to fail in the worst way; that is, intermittently. Usually it's just one channel. And when you cycle the red button switch or even just jiggle it a little, the channel will come back. Only to drop out again later. I only wish it failed earlier when I could still return it.

Great Value
Purchased this because I needed to share a speaker system between my desktop PC and my Macbook Pro. Didn't expect much from a $7 device but I haven't had any issues in the few months that I've been using it. It's not without any flaws but the sound is fine. Turning up the volume knob to high can cause a buzzing noise. Turning the volume knob down and controlling the volume through Windows fixes that issue. My Macbook on the other hand gives up all volume controls when plugged into my dock and speakers. I can only use the knob on the splitter to control the volume. It may just be a MAC OS setting that I need to play more with. Although I appreciate good sound quality, I am no means an audiophile. For the everyday Joe, this splitter is easily a 5-star device due to its incredibly low price. I can't comment on the QC since I have only used one of these devices but it's been great for me so far.

3.5mm AUX Cable Switcher, 4 Input 1 Output version
My only issue is that the labeling is upside down for my particular setup, but that's no biggie. The video included shows me cycling through all the inputs. Neat little device that's easy to set up, and has a unique look. I didn't test it with Bluetooth to 3.5mm, or USB-C to 3.5mm.

Selector and Mute switches are poor quality.
Mute and selector switches are of poor quality and cause intermittent continuity. Had to modify the circuit to completely bypass the Mute switch and I am just dealing with the bad selector switch. Has two stars because volume pot works fine with no distortion, also RCA jacks work fine.

Poor connections
This device was exactly what I was looking for. However, I had to make some alterations in order to make it function properly. Out of the box, the connection to the left output was very poor, which would result in that speaker constantly cutting out. It would come back by physically turning or slightly unplugging the cable, but it would eventually cut out again. If you're not into tinkering, this will annoy you.

Very good product

It does what it's supposed to (switch between inputs) and I really like the look of it. The knob has a nice feel. Just what I needed to connect multiple inputs into powered speakers. Recommended.

Couldn't be happier with the product. Simple to hookup and it works great!
