These extra large file totes are an office lifesaver. They are well made, sturdy, strong and durable. They hold a ton of files or other material that will not fit in a standard banker's box size tote. The split lid makes accessing all materials easy and convenient. Even though we are moving towards a paperless (or much reduced paper usage) office, there are always non-digital documents, files or books that need to be physically stored, and this tote is perfect for all those needs. Note: The lid stays on very well and snaps into place at each end. I do kind of wish it had a stronger flip-lock that you find on some plastic containers, as that would help ensure that any tipping or sliding during organization and moving would not result in all the contents being scattered everywhere. Something to consider . . . !

Using this to file my daughter’s school papers, and important papers. I love this filing cabinet. Very easy to access both ends, and pick up. I wanted something that was sturdy and see through.

I've had my important papers in a big cardboard box. I've looked for a more permanent storage solution on and off for a few years now. I found this one and it looked like something that would fit the bill. Well, it sure has and then some! The lid is great! Each end lifts up so you can get just what you need without having to take the lid off. Or if need be, the whole lid comes off. And it's nice, sturdy plastic. It's great and I highly recommend it for your storage needs--not just office.

Arrived on time, and not damaged. I bought 2, and both of them came individually packaged in their own box, with their own shipping protection. Was happy to see that, as that minimizes chances of damage during shipping when they stack multiple on top of each other in the same box. They are a bit smaller than I hoped, and I'll likely need to buy a couple more for the purpose I'm using them for, but overall they are sturdy, they stack well, the lid feels strong enough to hold the weight of another "full" bin on top without making it buckle. And I like how the lid opens. I'm using them for hanging file folders, and was concerned initially that the tabs of the hanging files would be in the way of the lid, but it's not. It works perfect! Just wish they would have been bigger.

Just what we needed. Ordered 2. One was broken. It was promptly replaced. Will order in the future. Great price.

It works perfectly and it's sturdy. I had a drawer of files in my bedroom that I now need for clothes. Wasn't sure how I would like the lid that opened on both sides, but it's working out great. I was worried it would be flimsy, but it's very sturdy. I looked all over Staples and I couldn't find a single file tote that appealed to me - I'm picky about supplies like this and wanted to see before I bought, but ordering this online filled the bill and I like it very much. I'm also very lucky, didn't have any damage as I read in some of the other reviews.

I love this hanging file storage bin. I order one every year. I store the entire year of files and receipts in it, label the year on the outside and store. Also love the fact that the top opens from both ends making it easier to locate a file. It's the best!

This is the perfect size and style box I need to archive my business files from cabinet to storage box. Unfortunately the box was cracked in the top corner. I decided to keep it, since it was still functional. I noticed the shipper did include corner guards and paper in the box it shipped in but it was not enough to keep it from getting damaged. If I needed to use this box daily I would have returned and hoped for a not broken one, but it will do fine sitting in a closet.
