Yes, they come out really well. Don’t turn it on until you have put the pastry-base, filling and top in first…I find the pastry shrinks before you can load it, if it’s on!

Q: Do you cook the meat first?

Yes you do cook filling first, try not to put to much gravy/ juice in, as bottom will get soggy
