This product arrives beautifully and safely packaged. The handle is perfect for my small hands as well as my bf’s large ones. the blade is sturdy and sharp. I find it to be very well balanced and the perfect weight. Not at all flimsy and not too heavy. You won’t regret this purchase. I’d recommend to anyone who cuts breads and tomatoes etc.

Beautiful knife

I have used different blades for a long time and you generally get what you pay for. This knife isn't the best but it is a really good deal for the money. I could always say that it is a poor substitute for a good Japanese blade and I would be right, that wouldn't be fair. This knife is a good knife. I have used it to cut bread for a while now and it has always done a great job . It does not tear the bread and I always get a clean cut. I get one uncut loaf of bread a week and have used this to cut said bread for several months. It works week after week and I have always been happy with the results. Cleaning the blade is easy. You be extremely careful when you clean it because you will cut yourself. It doesn't say you can't clean it in a dish washer. I would just use that and dry it as soon as it is done cleaning. If you are looking for a decent blade at a decent price this could be for you. It is priced right, it has a lifetime warranty and it just works.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review as part of the Amazon Vine Program. Seller TUO lists this as "TUO Bread Knife 8 inch - Serrated Bread Slicing Knife Bread Cake Cutter German HC Steel with Pakkawood Handle -FALCON SERIES with Gift Box". This is a very attractive, well balanced PakkaWood handled 8 inch TUO Serrated Bread Knife (See Pictures 1 & 2). It has a beautiful finish and is shaped to provide a good grip for use. This blade is made of high quality German High Carbon Stainless Steel and is rigid enough to cut straight and clean. I really like the serrated saw edge which cuts smoothly through the toughest crusty bread without crushing the soft inside. Slices can be as thin as I wish when I use this TUO Bread Knife. It comes in an attractive gift box with a small microfiber polishing cloth for the handle. Rubbing the blade with this cloth would be a bad idea, it is so very sharp cuts would be unavoidable! Recommended.

At first look this knife looks beautiful. However, when you pick it up and start looking at the details the quality is just not there. In the handle there are raised edges where the metal meets the wood. The sharp metal burrs everywhere make the knife very uncomfortable to move with. It doesn’t seem like much material, but it doesn’t take much to catch your skin either. I bought some nice for a friend and there’s no way I’m gonna give this to them. If it’s not something I would want then I’m not going to let anybody else have it as a gift. Updated 7/1/21 I sent the original knife back and got it replaced. It’s like they sent me the exact same knife. The handle still has sharp edges. Needless to say this one’s going back and I’ll be looking at a different knife.
