Great little piece and since I use about 6 different vehicles between my personals and work vehicles its very convenient to be able to switch with this. I have a Samsung galaxy 23 ultra.

Works great - very compact for travel

I've always despised car phone mounts. I live in CA, where you're not allowed to attach mounts to your windshield, so I suffered through tons of different mounts that connected to my dash with a suction cup that inevitably came loose, or attached to my A/C vents with tiny hooks that would easily break. Cup-holder mounts placed the phone too low, requiring me to take my eyes off the road. I considered them a necessary evil. I heard about the Kenu after I got a Prius. The mount I had on my old car wouldn't fit the A/C vents on the new one (surprise surprise). I wanted something that was easy to use, durable, and versatile, able to hold many different types of phones. The Kenu caught my eye because it was so simple. It had one moving part, the extendable arm, and they claimed to be able to fit onto any A/C vent. I had to go to an Apple Store to get one, and as soon as I got into my car, I attached it to a vent, slotted in my 5S, and I was off to the races. I loved the original Kenu and saw no reason to upgrade, until Apple announced the iPhone 6 Plus. Of course I got that beautiful monster of a phone, for which the original Kenu was too small. This time there was no research needed. I saw that there was a plus sized airframe, so I ordered it. I swapped out my old airframe, put in the new one, and that was it. No crazy installation, no cleaning off the dash for a suction cup or adhesive. Took me one minute. It holds my 6 Plus firmly with or without a case, and I can rotate it into landscape mode to take advantage of those features on the 6 Plus. And if I really needed a stand for my phone in a pinch, I could grab the Kenu off the vent, slap it on the back of the phone, throw a credit card onto the back end, and voila! Instant stand. Personally I think this is a bit cumbersome, so I rarely take advantage of it, but it's a nice hidden feature. And when you're done it's a snap to put it back onto your car vent. If I ever move out of CA, I'll likely get a windshield mount so I can free up my AC vent. But until that day, the Kenu Airframe+ is the only phone mount I need for my car.

I really like the Kenu Airframe+ as it's the only car mount I have found that works with my large Nexus 6P and the bumper around it. I tried other mounts that were magnetic and the adhesive wore out over time, and larger mounts with a swivel arm with a dashboard suction cup that couldn't hold the weight of a large phone. The Kenu Airframe+ vent mount on the back has a simple option for thick or thin air vents and fits perfectly into the vents on my 2017 Kia Sportage. I have driven with the Kenu Airframe+ for a few weeks and it doesn't bounce or shake at all when I turn corners or hit bumps in the road. The phone holder itself has a very solid grip on the phone and it keeps the phone securely in place. I also like the size and portability of the Kenu Airframe+ so I can carry it in my pocket if I need to use it on my desk or another flat surface. My only serious complaint here is with the holder for the phone. I knocked it one star because of this. It is impossible for me to easily remove the phone from the Kenu Airframe+ with one hand. I have to remove the Kenu Airframe+ from the air vent, then pull back on the spring with both hands to remove my phone. When I get back into my car, I have to insert my phone back into the Kenu Airframe+ with both hands and put it back into the air vents. Over time, I can see where this repeated removing and inserting the mount into the air vents will either damage my vents or the Kenu Airframe+ rubber mounts on the back. I wish there was a one button feature that allowed me to easily insert or release my phone in the Kenu Airframe+, otherwise it's annoying having to struggle with the spring mount just to get my phone in and out of the Kenu Airframe+ Hopefully, there is a simple hack that would allow for this to happen. I really love the Kenu Airframe+ but it just needs to be more accessible with one hand.

Great product! I had previously bought the smaller version for my Droid Razr Maxx, but it was a little tight when used with my wife's Samsung Galaxy S5 which is enclosed in a protective case. It fits great in this larger model. Some of the things that I really like about this product are: - Quality construction - It seems to be very well built and it looks like it will last for years. Most of the other products out there are cheap plastic. - Small size - I keep an extra Kenu Airframe in my computer backpack so that I will have it when I travel on business. When I travel, my "office" has to all fit in the backpack, so space is at a premium. This is much smaller than competitive cell phone holders. - Easy to use - It is very easy to mount the Airframe to a car vent and it is very easy to mount a phone in the Airframe. I have never had a problem mounting this in either my car or in a rental car. - Holds the phone securely - The Airframe firmly mounts in the car vent and firmly grips the phone/phablet.

I cannot believe that I am reviewing this product 10 years later. I was transferring into another car looking back at how long I’ve had this exact Kenu unit. It’s going 10 years strong. It still got great tension in the spring, fits onto various different cars and various different phones. Wanted to upload a quick video because this is a quality product that’s held up well.

What can I say? A great surprise in a small package. I have purchased five of these so far, one for myself and the rest for family members. It is very difficult to find a good car holder and near impossible to find a decent air vent car holder. So behold the Kenu Airframe+. I had to go for the plus model as I mostly use large 5.5 inch screen phones and the smaller Kenu Airframe is for standard phone sizes. The item is not cheap by any means, this has a recommended retail price of £29.99. I first came across this company on Amazon and judging by the reviews I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. For something so small it seems so expensive. When I opened the packaging the first thing that struck me was the quality, this little thing is very well made. The back of the item which has a revolving mechanism so you can use your phone sideways if you wish has a solid rotating click to it (quite satisfying actually). Please note this style of air vent holder will not fit every car as some manufacturers have very odd shaped air vents so please check this before you buy it. But saying that this will fit most cars. Once I chose my desired spot on my dash the Kenu Airframe+ slotted into my air vent perfectly. The left side of the holder widens out in an elastic motion so you can place your handset into the holder. When you release the arm it closes and holds the phone very strongly in place (this mechanism is quite nicely hidden in the holder). After taking quite a few journeys, the holder has never dropped out of my air vent once. I have quite a firm suspension on my car, I feel most bumps in the road but the holder has performed admirably. As I mentioned before you can rotate this holder 360 degrees and it will hold any phone securely at any angle. This is one of the items which is essential for drivers and for us to drive safely and responsibly. If you have a compatible air vent in your car I don't think you will find a better holder on the market. By the way, I have read some reviews of sellers selling fake versions of this item. I've been using Kenu Airframe+ phone clamps for over 10 years in my cars. Though they're not cheap compared to other options from China, they actually work perfectly for year and they can be used in landscape and portrait mode. If you're looking for a phone clamp to install on the airvents of you car, this is by far the best solutions.

Auf der Suche nach einem Universalhalter, mit dem ich auch ein iPhone5 inkl. Bumper (Schutzhülle) verwenden kann, bin auch diesen genialen Halter gestoßen.Ich war sehr skeptisch ob dieser kleine Bügelhalter mein iPhone sicher tragen kann. Und ob das mit der Montage im Lüftungsgitter so sicher hält. Was soll ich sagen.... wer das Teil erfunden hat, dem gebührt der größte Respekt! Der Berg an KFZ-Haltern für meine ganzen früheren Smartphones wird schon immer größer. Mit diesem Halter hier braucht man das alles nicht mehr. Der Halter ist klein und leicht. Er lässt sich ultra schnell einfach in das Lüftungsgitter stecken. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob die Lüftungsgitte senkrecht, wagerecht oder sogar diagonal verlaufen. Denn... und hier kommt der Clue... der Halter hat ein kleines Drehgelenk (mit Rasterung) mit dem sich der Halter um 360 Grad drehen lässt. Die kleinen Aufnahmeklammern hinten zum stecken in das Lüftungsgitter haben zwei unterschiedliche Abstände, sodass hier schmale, als auch dickere Lüftungsgitter in Frage kommen können. Er lässt sich auch genauso schnell wieder vom Lüftungsgitter abziehen. Ohne fummelei und Kratzer. Genial. Das Handy schiebt man dann einfach rein in die Klemmvorrichtung. Oder eben einfach wieder raus. Das Smartphone wird sehr sicher und fest gehalten.... und das sogar ohne die Schutzhülle vom Handy zu entfernen. Absolut genial das Teil. Es ist für 20 Euro zwar nicht unbedingt eines der günstigeren Halter, aber ich finde jeden Cent doch Wert. Bestellt habe ich ihn in schwarz und in meinem BMW fällt der nicht mal auf wenn er im Lüftungsgitter steckt.
