Wanted to replace my battery on my Dyson and this works great. The larger capacity makes it last longer than the factory battery did. Will update if it doesn’t last as long as I expect.

Absolute garbage. Barely fit our Dyson to begin with and ran for a month before it triggered our Dyson to run nonstop (regardless of the trigger) the minute it came off the charger. We couldn’t get it to turn off and the battery melted off. Our dyson is toast.

Battery was a great price but only lasted 9 months. The original Dyson lasted 8 years. I guess you get what you pay for but I would be weary of the quality. Some users got lucky I did not. Update. 11-1-2025. This company was great and did send me a replacement battery. Big thanks as they stood behind their warranty.

Excellent replacement for my Dyson Animal vacuum. Installation was very easy. All I had to do was removed 2 installation screws, remove the original battery, and install this new battery. The performance so far is excellent. This item truly refreshed my aging vacuum. It works like new, great suction and long lasting.

I was considering tossing away my old Dyson because it I could not use it on the "turbo" setting, which made it pretty much a waste of space. The Dyson product page shows the DC35 as being discontinued, and I thought of course it is, drop a couple hundred dollars on this product and when it needs replacement parts its no longer supported. Then I looked here on Amazon and found replacement batteries. My overall opinion of Dyson being a mediocre vacuum that is overpriced because of their name has not changed, but at least I will still get some use out of my old vacuum. Replacing the battery consisted of removing two screws, pretty straight forward and took a couple of minutes. It did fix the turbo setting on my vacuum, and it this new battery has accurate specs, it should have about three times the battery capacity that the OEM battery had. Thank you!

It only worked for a few months and it stopped working. Junk. Don't buy. Wast of money

Update Sept 7/24 Battery started to deteriate after a year, then after just over two years I get 2 minutes of use and now after about two and a half years I am lucky to get 30 seconds of use before it quits. If I let it sit for about 5 minutes I can get another 30 seconds, I can do this about 4 times then it has to be recharged. Vacuum was used very little, for spills and spot cleaning about once every two weeks or so. I will not buy another from this seller. Original post Feb 14/23 Not as advertised but ok as is for the price. Battery was advertised as a 4000 mAh battery but is actually only about 2600 mAh's. Dyson's original battery is 2000 mAh's and according to the manual it will run for 8 minutes on high on a DC45. Doing the math a 2000 mAh battery running for 8 minutes uses 250 ma a minute therefore a 4000 mAh battery should give you about 16 minutes of run time. The best run time I got from this battery was 10.5 minutes but usually just only 10.25 minutes, so at best this battery is only about 2600 mAh's. I see it is now being advertised as a 6000 mAh battery for even less money than what I paid about 8 months ago. I doubt it really is a 6000 mAh battery but for the price even if it is only a 2600 mAh battery it is still a good buy.

Seems to have good battery life. Was a little late arriving.
